Brunch Favorite
Date:03/04/2013
I hosted brunch at my house last weekend, and all my gal pals couldn't stop fawning over this beaker glass pitcher; it was a hit! We all have different styles, so it was quite a fun surprise to see everyone dote over this piece. The quality is fantastic! At brunch I served the orange juice (for mix your own mimosas) and now I want to purchase another two for other options (pear juice and apricot juice). If you're thinking of getting this item, think no further--it's GREAT!

Can't beat the value - great for parties
Date:02/15/2013
I bought these for a party last weekend from the location neer Bloomingdales in NY. These were so much more than I expected for the price - even less expensive than the discount chain plastic pitchers I have at home. They are thin glass but held up perfectly going, during, and after the party. Also, because of the price, who cares if they chip or break?! Easily replacable. I bought 5, may need more for my next gala...
I bought 2 so that I can have 1 on each side of the table for a big dinner party. They are fragile looking but so far seem very easy to handle. They are so cool and I want to put them out everyday!

great for making iced coffee!

because it can withstand rapid temperature changes. though it is thin, it still seems pretty durable and has been through my dishwasher plenty of times.

Junk!
Date:07/27/2012
This beaker pitcher is a piece of junk. Ordered from the web. Looks nice. Seems functional. So what's the issue? It's inexpensive for a reason. It's cheap. The glass is so thin that the slightest contact with anything else in your kitchen - say a drying rack, or a stirring spoon will destroy this fragile thing. Just garbage.
I ordered 2 of these for a baby shower and loved them! I was worried the glass would be thin, but they held up great. They came wrapped very well- bubble wrap and all! Once we filled them with cold beverages, I thought they would sweat and leave big water rings on the counter, but they didn't. Great purchase!
Purchased this for home and as a gift. Friends love them! Versatile, work well in different areas of the house- as a vase, pitcher, accent piece. Super price point.
I absolutely love this pitcher, and the price can't be beat anywhere! I get many compliments on how modern yet simple it is. My only issue is that it's definitely a two handed pitcher since there is no handle, and when condensation forms on the outside it gets rather slippery. So hold onto it! But at the price it wouldn't hurt to pick up more if anything happened

great little pitcher. got lots of comments from dinner guests. i'm just afraid of breaking it - the only thing is my friend with small hands had to hold it with 2 hands to not drop it! Love this item!

I love these pitchers and have been using them for about 2 years now for Iced Tea and the occasional water pitcher. The substantially flat top makes them very compatible with tea brewing devices that may need to be placed atop them (e.g., the Adagio IngenuiTEA brewer). The only reason i give them 4 our of 5 dots instead of the full 5 is that the thin nature of the glass makes them susceptible to cracking. IN particular, the area where the bottom curves up to attach to the sides. Usually, the cracks form from the ice chute of my fridge dropping the first few ice cubes (rapidly) into the pitcher. Amazingly, the cracks do not form from going from cold to hot as you might expect.
In any event, i still consider these pitchers a "win" because at their price, i just buy about 6 at a time and replace when one breaks every 4 months or so. This is my second order of 6, so it's taken me just under 2 years to break 5 of them. At $6 bucks apiece, totally worth it.
Great purchase! Love the long lines on this simple, elegant pitcher. I've purchased 2 (at such a low price, I may order more!) and used them as water pitchers at the dining room table for a dinner party. Like the idea of using them as vases, too!
I purchased 3 of these pitchers to have on hand for parties- usually family parties- so we use them for lemonade, iced-tea and water. They look great collected together each with thin slices of lemon floating- and are easy for everyone to use. They also second well as vases, hurricanes and succulent terrariums. The pitchers are priced wonderfully so I'm not so worried about them- and they go in the dishwasher! I've given them as hostess gifts as well. Big fan.
