Perfect Little Piece Of Art
Date:03/04/2013
This set is so cool. I'm not using it for S&P, just as cool kitchen art. So far everyone who has come over notices it and loves it. I was surprised at how small it was but had I paid attention to the dimensions I would have had a visual. The set should be small as they are S&P shakers. Grab one before they are gone.

Awesome Salt and Pepper Shakers
Date:02/28/2013
I love the look of this set! They look like rocks. The black holder has identions where the shakers should be placed. I love pepper and I am not big on salt so I put the pepper in the shaker with the most holes. They look great with any table setting.
I've been looking for salt and pepper shakers that have a little extra panache. I'm very happy with these. I spent some time in Japan years ago, and love the Zen vibe. I'm currently using my CB2 Smart Marble coffee table for dining, and this set looks very cute sitting on top.
I adore the look and the feel, but the 3 holes for the salt shaker are so large that the salt just flows out!...I finally just put a little silicone gel in the holes to make them smaller.

With the porcelain contrasting with the black base, it's lovely to look at. So far it's just been for decor and that's alright by me. I always receive compliments as the shakers catch my friends' eyes.

I came to CB2 with the intention of buying the silver set of salt and pepper shakers but when I saw the stone set, I instantly changed my mind. They look beautiful on my glass table top and they ask to be picked up by their fun shape and you want to keep them in your hand because they are just the right size and very smooth.

I admit I was torn between the stainless steel set, which I bought, and this set. I inadvertently kept this set in my shopping car and wound-up purchasing it. My minor mistake resulted in me finding a nice set to keep on the dining table that looks more like decor than utensils.
One drawback is the potential to drop and break these; they are quite beautiful, but they're porcelain and anything that goes into someone's hands is bound to experience a drop (in my opinion). So, for now, they're safe on my dining table and look great. They're not too big or too small. They're fairly compact - the setting tray makes this package complete though.
These are awesome! I don't NEED to use them as salt and pepper shakers right now, so I've been using them as part of my home decor. I have one room that is asian-themed, and they look perfect with a set of chopsticks! No one can ever believe they're salt and pepper shakers - they're pretty sneaky! They're adorable, and everyone compliments them! They feel like real stones, and they hold a decent amount of salt and pepper; they aren't as small as they seem! A great purchase!!
Unique S/P shakers that sit upon a black wooden base. You will want to buy more than 1 set; at least 2, maybe 4 if it's for a dining room table (1 for each end and then 2 to be shared by those seated to the left and right).

These shakers are adorable and very zen like. When i saw them i knew i had to have them. Unique, modern and chic, they look great on the table. Easy to refill and good at dispensing. Would recommend!
I saw these online and HAD to have them. I purchased them in the Miami Beach store (alas, there is no CB2 in Charlotte, NC) and absolutely love them. I am planning on ordering three more sets for dinner parties.
This is a perfect gift to have on hand, great for hostess gifts, holiday gifts, or even to keep for yourself. Really unique but not a whole lotta money!

The moment I saw these shakers in the November issue of Lucky, I fell in love. The quiet, organic elegance of this set makes it a work of art. The shakers are quite petite - each is about three inches wide and and inch tall - but I think they would lose their essence if they were too much bigger. They're light and smooth in the hand. Absolutely perfect.
