I love candles and the battery operated are a nice addition to my collection. They are safe, too! However, these are too short and too wide to fit any of my holders. The light flickers nicely and has a great color but, if they won't fit, they aren't much use. This is the only item I've ever bought at CB2 that wasn't something I loved!

Cheap product, not worth the money or the hassle

The construction on this candle is cheap--you could see every plastic seam and it is not sightly even at night when it's dark. The candles feel like a giant hollow plastic cigar--it is not heavy enough or with the right plastic to feel sturdy. It is also hard to use because the push-button sits on the bottom end, so you have to reach in to click it on or off. Also, one out of three candles I ordered did not work right out of the box. Even though I love the look of these from afar and the idea of it because I am such a big Philippe Starck fan, because of the price and quality, I'd rather go with tapered candles and deal with its waxy mess.

I love these candles. They do exactly as described. Very safe around children. My only complaint, is that I ordered the Tri Taper Candleholder also to put the candles in, but the candles are too wide. Luckily, I had a 5 candle candlelabra that I had previously bought and they do fit in that..

A New Way to Use Candles!
Date:12/09/2012
Three of these in CB2's glass candelabra make a worry-free accent. Think dreamy night life.Think safe, no drips. I loved the candelabra ever since I saw it in the catalog. Now with these flickering battery candles, I'm thinking about buying a second candelabra to use seriously with wax candles.
