I bought this trunk from the cb2 store in Chicago when it was on sale last week. I've been working on organizing my bedroom for a month now and this has really come in handy. Also i should add, the quality of the trunk is fantastic, looks beautiful, and very sturdy. You will not be disappointed!

I love this trunk. It is stylish and functional. The only drawback is that it needs to be treated with care as it can bend if handled roughly. Regardless, I would recommend it.

This modern take on the classic storage trunk is a great looking, functional way to store your treasures. It stores quite a bit and I keep mine out in plain view for all to see when they enter my home office.

First saw this trunk in a shop used for storage & set about finding where to get a couple. Found them on CB2 and they were delivered quite quickly. The first trunks top did not fit when closing the trunk it was off by a cm but I thought, I can live with that. The second trunk had two big dents one in the side and one at the back. The orange paint inside had come off. CB2 were very helpful and I sent the damaged one back and got a replacement. So all in all they are quite flimsy and the orange paint inside has started to peel.
This piece is a lot smaller than expected, so we are using it in our kids room. We love the orange interior. So fun! If we use it anywhere else in the house we'd buy a table or stand to put it on. It looks small next to all of the other furniture. Great price for a unique piece! It was on back order for quite some time, but CB2 was great at sending emails to let me know the status.

I saw this trunk and fell in love with it, for the mix of the more urban metal finish as well as the pop-py orange interior. My decorating style ranges from traditional to eclectic to modern to antique, and I thought this would be a great coffee table to go with my leather loveseat in a small, traditional living room. When it arrived, it was dented and rusty, despite being double-boxed. I called customer service, and they were very helpful and shipped a new one out right away. UPS picked it up at the door, so I didn't have too much hassle with the return. The new one is not dented, but the handles on the end are not completely straight; however, you don't really notice it. The trunk is lightweight, stylish, and holds a TON of stuff inside! It is the perfect scale for my small loveseat, and adds a kick of modern to the room. Overall, I am happy with it, although I do agree that the price is high. I think $99 would be more appropriate.

It arrived with two big dents and the lid doesnt exactly align with the trunk. I probably could have sent it back, but I need it and don't want to deal with the trouble.
Also, notice from the picture that it doesnt have a handle to lift the lid once you unlatch it. That is slightly annoying.
Basically, I excpted more for the price but it isnt like these are easy to find elsewhere for cheaper.

I live in a nyc apartment where every inch of space counts --- this trunk is a perfect place to stash all that "stuff" that i can't keep on display but can't part with either ...I had been looking on line for a light weight fashionable trunk and FINALLY GOT IT! Thanks CB2 for great design @ a fair price. LOVE MY TRUNK!!!!
I bought this trunk to spice up my semi-formal living room. This trunk adds a great, modern element when paired with my antique furniture. I love the orange inside too. It's very light, so if you're using it as a coffee table, make sure to weigh it down inside so it doesn't slide around on the carpet!
