great wine storage!
Date:03/05/2013
i looked for a long time to find an industrial-looking solution for storing wine in my flat. all the wine racks i saw seemed to be too fussy, but these racks are perfect! i bought 7 of them and stacked two rows of 3 with one on the top right for an asymmetrical effect. i get rave reviews.

good value wine storage
Date:03/04/2013
The cellar wine rack was a good purchase. I ordered two and they arrived very quickly and required no assembly. They are attractive and go well with my modern/transitional decor. I'm skeptical about stacking more than two.

Best compact wine storage
Date:03/04/2013
I live in a small apartment with too much stuff, and wine! This was the best, adaptable solution I could find for space and volume of wine stored. (can put 4 bottles in the upper and lower openings sometimes!) I wish they were slightly heavier, in case of earthquake... I have them stacked...

Wonderful, stylish storage
Date:02/28/2013
Absolutely love these. I stacked five of them in the closet for some additional wine storage. They're sturdy for how light they are and easily fit 12 bottles per cube. There's a hole in the back to secure them to the wall, but seem stable without it.

this cellar wine rack is beautiful, perfect and I can only write .....buy it!!!
These boxes are strong and modern, they stack 5 high. I'll probably buy a couple every month. I also plan to drape a heavy velvet drape underneath the 5th row to further sound dampened the apt. My spouse will fill them with wine. Our living room should be a wine cellar in no time.

Wine storage
Date:09/02/2012
I stacked 4 of these, 2 wide and 2 high. They work great. The only reason I gave 4 starts instead of 5 is because the bottom storage bin only holds 2 bottles of wine instead of 3.

Great buy

I have 5 of these storage crates. The finish is very modern and chic. The boxes themselves are sturdy without being too heavy to move around. They have indentations to make stacking easy and there is a hole and mounting hardware in case you want to mount to a wall. Once you put a few bottles in, the box is weighted toward the back, so it seems unlikely that it can or will tip. These look great with the bent metal shelf, which I also bought.
We bought 3 of these wine racks. We love the classic, simple look to them and loved how they cleaned up our bar! The finish is perfect, matches any furniture and style. We actually just ordered 3 more to complete the set...or to hold all our wine =) They are lighter weight and thinner than I was expecting, but still sturdy enough to stack full of wine and not bend under the pressure- light enough to be hung on a wall or shelf.

Love this wine rack. It's compact but holds enough wine for our needs. I hope to wall mount it when our kitchen remodel is finished but it will look great on a shelf too. I would recommend this to anyone that is short on storage space.
I was attracted to the industrial/military look of this basic wine rack. Looks great in my space. One issue to consider - three bottles in the bottom slot will lie flat in a row, not stacked in a triangle like the other slots. Not a big deal, but you do lose the cool symmetry of four "triangle stacks".

I love the look and feel of this affordable product. However, it's a bit short and the bottles stick out a bit too much for my liking. I am using it but would like it to be deeper.
I bought this to organize wine horizontally in a cabinet instead of just piling bottles on top of each other. It doesn't look fancy at all, so I might not use it out in the open kitchen or living room, but is generally getting the organizational job done. A couple of disappointments:
It holds 3 bottles in each section. I was hoping for 4.
I like the idea of a metal wine cube, and while this is all metal, it is a little less sturdy than I hoped. If you or a family member is handy with welding, you could make a much stronger one on your own.

Great looking and very functional product - two of them fit perfectly on my kitchen counter. Delivery was much speedier than anticipated and no assembly is required - they're ready to go right out of the box. I look forward to many years of use - their "modular" nature makes them very versatile. Other reviews on the CB2 site were very helpful in helping me settle on this product, so thank you to those reviewers.
This wine rack was actually more sturdy than I thought it would be. I had it mounted to the wall, and it was full, but there was no danger of it falling off the wall. I have since taken it down while we redo our kitchen, but it looks great up on top of the cabinets for the time being. I'm thinking of getting additional cubes and perhaps putting together a wall wine rack down in our "man cave" once we get to that point.
I found it quite sturdy and stable. I have them stacked 2x2 and they look great in my dining room beside my sideboard! I've looked at a lot of wine racks and this one won me over because it was a good price but a simple and attractive, functional design. One thing that could be improved: There are dimples on one side and protrusions on the opposite side. They're obviously supposed to fit together to make it more secure, but they're not very deep and the coating is kind of slippery so I didn't feel comfortable stacking them that way. Instead, I put velcro in between the top unit and the bottom unit to keep them from sliding. It is VERY secure now.
How easy is this? great storage, simple assembly--just unpack them! Arrived in terrific shape, wonderfully green packing. Simply stack them. A tad bit shallow, but most bottles balance well. I love them! good looking, yet not obvious.
