Immediately broke

Opened it, placed it on ground, stepped onto it, and it immediately broke. Wish I had read the previous reviews.

Horrible. Cheap. Beautiful.

I ordered three for master bath. They look awesome. Stepped on it and heard a loud crack. Floor is uneven in bathroom due to tile and thus mat does not sit even. Used for 2 minutes and will return. I feel as if it will break after one use.

Love this mat.

I've always hated rug-style bathmats, no matter how plush or hpw flat, they always feel wet and dirty to me. I bought this mat on a whim, and it's great -- very spa-like. I step on to it to get dry and once I wipe my feet, they actually stay dry
This product adds to the spa feeling of my guest bath. I would have given it 5 stars but being as picky as I am, I would like to see this product available in a smaller size (for my smaller guest bath). It is well made and looks great!!
Hate to be harsh, but the quality of the product was very poor. Poorly crafted & poor quality of materials. I had such high hopes that it would be sturdy & amazing, but was supremely disappointed. Product felt as if it would break the second I stepped on it.

I hate to give such a harsh review but the product, while looking good and shiny, broke after my first use! and I'm only 125lbs (not lying)! "Luckily" thought, it broke after first use, so I could still return it at the store in person. The manager was very nice about it, seemed surprised (given how light weight I am), but wasn't anymore after reading the other reviews online. Great idea, but CB2 really has to redesign it with a better built to make sure most of them don't break.

this product broke within 1 month of use in our master bedroom shower/bathroom. only myself and my husband ever used it. there is no support in the center and as such the unit pulls itself apart in a matter of days. its held together with only dowl rods. needs something stronger, and support in the middle. CB2 you should pull this product or improve it!

This bathmat works well for smaller bathrooms that have limited floor space. Being a bachelor, I love that this mat requires much less cleaning compared to regular cotton mat!

I recently purchased this bathmat for use outside of my shower. It is a handsome addition to the bath and provides not only a warm feel over the tile floor but visual warmth as well. My only suggestion would be to add three more plastic supports to the 9 supports already on.the underside so it does not creak when you step on it.
I bought two of these for my white spartan rental bathroom and they look great. I don't find them terribly uncomfortable but then again, I do go barefoot around my apt. Looks like they'll last for a while.
I had a couple problems with this product. Right out of the box, I immediately noticed that it was much much lighter in color than it looked either online or in the print catalog. Ultimately I decided that the pallor of the wood was not a deal breaker as it fit in with my decor, just in a different way.
The other issue is that after trying it for a week, I find this mat to be incredibly uncomfortable. From the moment I come out of the shower, I find myself rushing to get off the mat as quickly as possible. I think the slats are too far apart, allowing your foot to sink between them more easily. On top of that, the wood is hard and the edges sharp.
I think with some minor redesigns, this would be a great mat, but I can't recommend it as-is.
I bought this bathmat as a less grungy alternative to the usual terry cloth bathmats and so as to avoid having to step on cold tiles with bare feet. The ash bathmat is well made and looks handsome. Stepping on wooden slats isn't quite as comfortable as stepping on a textile bathmat, but the added hygiene makes it worth it.
Feet don't slip, hooray! Not sure about the negative reviews, i haven't had issues with breaking nor did i expect that a wood bath slat would dry my feet. If you like to jump around or don't own any towels, stay away from this one. Otherwise, brings a fine scandanavian look to any bathroom.
This mat works perfectly for smaller bathrooms! The regular rectangle shape seemed a bit long in my bath, since the tub and toilet are close together, but this mat fits the space well, and there's no hassle of having to wash it as often.
