Sleek and stylish

I wanted to make my living room more contemporary and these simple, streamlined lamps did the trick. What's more, the shades diffuse light beautifully, giving the room a warm glow. I'd recommend these highly.

Attractive Purchase

The lamps (I purchased two) are attractive although not exactly identical in that one of the shades seems tohave a pattern while the other does not.
I did have to improvise in order to get one of the harps to line up correctly.
Despite these minor problems, I love the lamps since they look great on the sofa table and add interest to the room as a whole.

It's simply a really nice lamp. It may not draw too much attention to its self but it definitely goes well with modern decor and is well worth the 50 bucks.

The lamp itself is nice and looks just like the image online. What I didn't expect and am not crazy about is the lighting the shade gives off makes it sort of look coldish and flourescent-like. Also it's a tight sort of awkward way you to have to reach up into the shade to turn off the light. You feel like the shade will quickly be come discolored and sort of worn in that area.. Wish there was an turn off switch lower on the cord or a pull tab turn off switch.

nice bedroom lamps

I bought two lamps for our bedroom and they look quite nice, especially for the price. My husband says they aren't high enough, but mine works well for me. A very nice table lamp.

Absolutely love it! I have a very modern bedroom and the design plus the lighting goes very well beside my bed. I also bought the floor lamp that goes with it which was another great purchase!

I actually saw the lamp in person at a friend's house and thought the it looked quite nice from the distance and switched off. Without even thinking about it twice, I bought it online. What a disappointment when it showed up at my door. Not only the construction feels ultra cheap but the lighting itself is absolutely awful. That suede-like shade never looks clean since it has that weird texture to it and the light that goes through feels uneven which translates into a shade of yellowish/grey tones all over. I tried switching the terrible CFL bulb included in the box with a regular incandescent bulb but alas, it didn't help either. Returned the same day.

Sweet, versatile lamps

Soon after receiving one of these lamps, I went ahead and purchased a second. These look great in my living room as accent lights. They are simple and well made. I have them on low shelves, which result in a cool blast of light out the top of the lamp that sprays out onto the wall. Now that space just begs for a cool art piece to be hung:) I know that if I move and need to put these in my bedroom on the night stands instead, they will look equally as cool. Great purchase and great price!

Why is the accompanying nash floor lamp no longer available? The john floor lamp, while a suitable replacement, lacks the character and lines that make this series a cut above the rest at this price point. If these lamps continue to sell so well, then why discontinue to coordinating (and might I add, affordable) floor lamp CB2?

Fantastic Lamp; Great Light Quality

I purchased two of these lamps and couldn't be happier with them. The shades are perfect for throwing a lot of very light that fills a room but keeps it very soft. I did not find that I had any issues with alignment as other people had posted. I found that the shade holder was build to have some movement to it and it was easy to adjust the shades and secure them to keep them squared up.

Cheaply made, no quality control

Great looking lamp online but looks cheap in person. Finish is a dark grey pebbly, rough finish that appears sprayed on; not black as it appears online. The lamp stem was welded unsquare to the base by almost a full quarter turn. I guess for the price this lamp is OK but I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the finish as well as the lack of attention to detail during the manufacturing proocess.

Looked good in the picture and looks really great in the living room. The shape, size and weight are ideal. The light is bright enough to read by and provides a nice atmosphere, too.

Modern Simplicity

I bought this lamp to replace a tiffany lamp that was really too big for that particular table top. When I was in the store, I at first didn't notice this lamp. When I passed by again, I looked at it enough to register in my mind -- then left the store (after purchasing some other great stuff in CB2). As I was walking around 4th Street, a "light bulb" went off about it so went back and purchased it. It could not be more perfect. I never saw a product boxed up so carefully -- great engineering went into the design of the packaging. No damage on the shade or base what-so-ever. The directions supplied were thorough, and the lamp even came with a CFL bulb! The result is that this well designed but simple lamp looks great. I am very happy with this purchase!

I love this lamp, but when I received it in the mail it was missing the washer to hold the lamp shade on. CB2 promptly sent it to me. The lamp shade wobbles a bit. I find myself having to straighten the shade after turning the lamp on or off. I thought the washer would hold it in place and solve this problem, but it didn't. I still think the lamp is great. I just wish I didn't have to mess with the shade when I turn it on and off.

This lamp is a nice accent in my room. Good quality and gives off good light. It was really easy to put together. I think I'll get another to have a matching pair.
