I stalked this print from many different angles... after searching the internet for the same piece by another distributor CB2 came back as the best deal by far. The quality is great, the aluminum backing gives a different look in the varying degrees of sunlight or indoor lighting. I love that this piece is ethnic without feeling like my hanging tapestries of yesteryear!
I was so disappointed with this print. Looks so cheesy... It looks like someone printed on top of a mirror. Not the look I was searching for. The picture on CB2.com does show how bright it is. It is made well but not for me. I returned it immediately after taking out of the box.
This is a great piece, and I am extremely happy with the purchase. Have already gotten a number of compliments on it. Would definitely recommend it to others. I was a little hesitant to purchase the piece, without seeing it first -- particularly since the last photo of the print (in a room above a fireplace) made some parts look bright red. It's a definitely bold piece, but I wouldn't say any of the colors were "bright"...or red for that matter. In the end, it was exactly what I was looking for. (By the way, the first photo - where you only see the print - is a much more accurate representation of the actual piece.) This was, for me, definitely a GREAT purchase. Would have given it 5 stars, but I was a tad disappointed by the way in which the print was mounted -- just seemed like the manufacturer cut corners to keep the price down. Would have preferred a more professional mounting. But, I don't think anyone will notice when it's on the wall.
