This rug is gorgeous. It's incredibly soft and cushy. It doesn't have a very thick backing, though, so if you're going to be placing this rug under furniture that you move a lot (a desk chair, etc.) you might want to reconsider as it does bunch up a little bit. Also, it shows dirty very easily, so I wouldn't recommend it for an area by an entry way where it is going to get dirty. Those few flaws aside, it's a beautiful rug. The color is stunning and is well represented by the pictures online.

Generally speaking I have been extremely satisfied with my purchases from CB2 over the past few years. This is the first major exception. This rug appears very attractive online and for the most part this holds true in person. However, what was not depicted online were 4 lines that span the length of the rug in the solid section; it looks as if someone dragged a knife across. Presumably this is a defect particular to the rug I received. Worse than this though is the shedding. I waited a few weeks before posting this review hoping that the shedding would slow down, but it has not. If you buy this rug for a trafficked area of your home, plan to vacuum it daily.
