Pretty but not practical
Date:04/06/2013
I purchased eight dinner plates and eight bowls about 6 months ago. They are super cool looking. Very modern and classy at the same time. Food presents nicely on the sleek white porcelain.
BUT, the rims of the plates chip super easy. and the design of the bowls render them useless. As mentioned I bought these 6 months ago. I currently have three plates that do not have chips on them. The bowls have held up well but due to the large but shallow design are only really good certain things (great for pasta and salad, but too big for vegetables and too shallow for cereal). Overall, I would not buy again, unless it was just for looks. Not for everyday use.

I wanted serving bowls that could fit ~4 servings of side dishes and I got exactly what I wanted! I'm so glad I didn't get the actual Frank serving bowl because I'm sure it would be too big for my small dinner parties. This might be too big as a soup bowl unless you're eating soup as an entire meal.

Love Them
Date:01/24/2013
I love these bowls. Modern enough for my modern side, but classic enough to last a looooong time. They hold a perfect amount of side-dish for 4-6 people. I put my big bag of lemons in one of them and set it in the middle of my table. You wouldnt believe how many comments I have gotten about it! Will be ordering more.
I really like these nesting plates. I got the Frank salad size for my small plating needs. The only drawback, for me, is the uncoated bottom--I'd prefer to have complete coverage with the enamel instead of a rough bottom. All-in-all, I'm glad I made the purchase and continue to enjoy my little nesting plates.

replacement piece
Date:11/26/2012
bought the Frank dinner plate as a replacement for the Modern plate purchased 3 years ago. Although they look similar, the Frank is lighter, slightly thinner and not as heavy and the bottom is different, flat, no lip. It's a great plate but I am disappointed because it is not an exact match to the original ones offered previousely. I still rate the product as well as CB2 as a 5. Always shop with them first!

Fantastic!

I just got the dinner and salad plates today and they are adorable! And great quality - nice and heavy. I sooo wish there was a serving platter that went with this set (hint, hint, CB2!).

Practical dinnerware!
Date:09/10/2012
These frank dinnerware are practical, easy to wash and maintain. I got them to use them as serving plates for a party I had through, but I've used them many times after my party both as dinnerware and server ware. Also I love that they are stackable for easy storage.

Fancy and Everyday
Date:09/01/2012
I have been using my CB2 Frank dinnerware for 6 years now and still love it. I use it on my white designer kitchen table and my wood designer dining room table. It can be dressed up or down. Due to the heavy, substantial, weight of the plates..I have had to replace a few. ( my carelessness from dishwasher to cabinet) I hope CB2 continues to carry these classic pieces as I will want them always.

BAD DESIGN
Date:08/20/2012
Shockingly poor design- so shallow and large- not useful.
