Family Rug

This rug came with a terrible odor that in two weeks had not gone away. The shedding was unbelievable so the dark area always had white even with daily vacuum. The worst happened when I spilled water and the black portion dyed unto the light! I could not believe it, I have had dark rugs before but never seen this. Fiber always look frayed, bottom line this is a poor quality rug

I love this black and white FAMILY rug. It is so modern and goes with everything. My preschooler loves to jump from one letter to the next, which I encourage to wear her out. Fabulous rug and fabulous customer service!!!

So, I ignored the warnings of "THIS RUG SHEDS!!!" all over the reviews...and bought it anyway. The style was right, the size way right and heck, the PRICE was right. Lesson learned. This this looks like junk after a day of walking on it. Sheds is an understatement. You're better off buying a st bernard and letting it hang out at your house for a week. you'll see less shedding. All that said, I still like the design, when its clean.

Colors are not what I expected

This is a very soft rug and my kids love hanging out on it playing games, but I am not a big fan of the colors. On the right side it is very vibrant but on the left it's got soft pinks and yellows. I was expecting something more bold. It looks a bit kidish. I didn't use it where I intended, it is now in the game room. It is really thick and soft so for the price I still think it was a good deal.

This rug is absolutely gorgeous, and super soft and thick. So meaningful and unique with the word FAMILY on it. Conversation piece as well. Everyone loves this rug when they see it. I didn't take room measurements before ordering the rug, so the company had it picked up and returned at no cost to me while I ordered the correct size. LOVE this FAMILY rug!!! Thank you Novogratz for designing it!!!!

colorful, fun but fuzzy

Bought the colorful 5x7 version to put on the floor of our playroom "inside" of our sectional. It is softer than expected and a lovely burst of color in a largely neutral room. My only complaint is it creates lots of fuzz balls, so frequent vacuuming is a must.

Good and bad

I bought color version of the rug and good thing is that design is very unique, clever, and there is nothing like it, but bad thing is that this rug sheds a lot. I have to vacume every day. Over all, I still like it a lot.

I have had this rug for several months now and it is driving me crazy. It is still shedding an unbelievable amount. I have to vacuum it atleast once a day to keep up with it. It really is so sad, because the rug looks amazing right after I vacuum. Unfortunately that only lasts for about half an hour. I would return it if I could and get something else that doesn't shed.

This rug is well made and the colors are perfectly vibrant. We bought it for our nursery and can't wait to create an entire room around such a fun statement piece!!

i went to cb2 over the weekend fully intending to buy the color version of this rug. the color version looked ok except the colors didn't pop the way they do on the cover of the catalogue. the colors are more muted in person. the color rug is also predominantly white. it had already picked up a lot of stains just from foot traffic in the store. i wasn't even planning to consider the black and white because it didn't look great in the catalogue. what a surprise! the black and white is fabulous. that's the one i got. try to find a store to take a look before you buy.
