Quirky but cool looking

This is my second of these. Version number one, purchased some years ago, had three levels of brightness. Each tap made the bulb brighter. This was clearly superior to the one level current model. Unfortunately, the early model shorted out so I replaced it with the current one. The reason I cannot recommend it is that it unilaterally turns itself on and off. The switch mechanism seems to be so sensitive that it reacts to mere air currents. So at night I am awakened by the light going on and when I am reading the room suddenly goes dark. Annoying.

Very modern looking. Love it. The only thing is the base attract dust easily. I wish it is regular switch on lighting.

Great Lamp Great Price

I'm very happy with this little lamp. He provides a good range of light, and takes up minimal table space. The only thing I dislike about it is the seam on the shade. It's not a big deal, I turn it toward the wall, but still I wish it wasn't there.

This lamp is a good purchase for matching night stands. It is modern and functional and the price is right. The on-off mechanism on the base is a "must have" for a bedsde lamp - no fumbling with an on-off switch!

This lamp is both attractive and functional- I really like the dimmer option for softer lighting. I am on my second lamp in 5 years, however. The first one stopped working (first it stopped dimming, then it stayed on ALL the time, then completely stopped working). BUT, CB2 has great customer service. Even though the lamp was 2 years old at the time it broke, they gave me a partial store credit and I bought another one!

In the words of brick, "I love lamp", and when I say it I really mean it. This lamp adds a gorgeous ambiance to my bedroom. I really love that its a touch lamp! Such a throwback to the 80s :) In all honesty if you are considering this, then you should definitely buy it. It is such a great value for a well-made, beautiful piece

This is the cheapest lamp ever. I have now sent back two of them. They simply don't work. The return process is quite easy so that is a plus. But CB2 should pull this product already.

it stopped working. This is my 2nd paramount lamp and the touch stopped working with the first. I liked the look of the lamp so much that I bought another hoping that it was just a defect for the lamp I had. And, today, my second lamp stopped working. Nothing happens when you touch it and I've tried replacing the bulb but it still doesn't work :(

Nice Lamp / Wish There Was a Manual Switch

The lamp is nicely designed, minimal and can fit in with many types of decor. The only downside was that the touch capability can sometimes go haywire.

I bought 2 of these for our nightstands and they are perfect everything. A great modern accent, Just the right amount of lighting, And it's so great to just reach over and touch the base to turn them off to go to sleep! Also great for the price.

Perfect bedside lamp

This lamp is perfect on my nightstand. It gives off a really soft, warm light and the touch-sensitive on/off feature is perfect! You'll never need to fumble around in the dark. I ordered online and I was impressed by how well-packaged it was.

Purchased two of these lamps for white Andes bed. They look Amazing! Love the on/off touch base and they came with bulbs! Look even better in person. The base is more solid than I expected!

Problems replacing Lightbulb

I loved this lamp. I had it for about a year and when I had to replace the bulb, the lamp would only function by plugging it in, but the touch base would not turn on the lamp. i tried all different kinds of bulbs.... Otherwise, this is a perfect lamp.

The lamp is exactly as represented and is a fairly good price, nice scale and great transitional piece for a variety of styles. The tall lamp shade has a 1/2 wide overlap seam running from top to bottom. I wanted to put it on a piece of furniture that floats in the room, but the very noticeable seam ruins the look. I find the expanse of white shade a bit blank and looks slightly cheap when the light is off. But it looks great when it's on and you can't see the seam. Although it says clearly it's a touch lamp, I didn't think about how often it would be touched. Cleaning it, around it. moving it, accidental touches. I had to put it more out of the way so I couldn't unintentionally turn it on and off.

This light is wonderful! It is quite tall, so be sure to measure the space you want it in beore you order. I am using two of these are bedside tables and they really set off the bedroom.

I had been in the market for new nightstand lighting for quite some time, and came across these cool modern lamps. At $50 each, I thought they were a steal, and am very happy with the purchase. They have a hefty quality base, came very well packaged, and give off a cool low glow in the bedroom. Perhaps not perfect if you need reading light, but I love them!
