Novogratz Fave: "With seven kids and our office at home, we can never have enough places to hang up coats, hats, bags etc. The shape is architecturally sculptural while serving a purpose, and we love both the red and the white." - Robert and Cortney Novogratz -Metal with high-gloss red powdercoat finish -Three hooks hold up to 11 lbs each -Clean with soft cloth -Made in China

This was very easy to put together. Very sturdy and looks good. Doesn't take up to much room. Used in tween bedroom for bags and hats and things

Smart and functional

We're in a small space without a coat closet, and this has really helped. It assembles very quickly and easily - no tools needed. And the rack itself fits into a small spot. It's strong and balanced enough to hold heavy coats, and there's space underneath to lean umbrellas or boots.

Sturdy but ugly
Date:06/02/2012
We needed a coatrack for the front entrance of our house for backpacks and jackets and I bought this based on price (in white). Easy to assemble and very sturdy, the design was strange--a bit cheap looking and too industrial instead of mod. It looked like it belonged in a dentist's office. Maybe it would've been better in a color but red option doesn't match our decor.

This thing is perfectly simple and well made. It just looks cool and fits into my modern office space like it was meant to be.

Easy, attractive, cheap
Date:02/28/2012
I live in a very modern house with relatively little storage, and I was looking for a coat rack for my entry-level office room that would add some color, complement the modern decor, keep a relatively low profile, and not cost hundreds of dollars (hundreds of dollars for a coat rack!). This one was perfect -- easy to assemble (it took 3 minutes), much sturdier than you might think, and only $69.95. I'd recommend it to anyone with modernist tastes and limited space.

Great Coat Rack!
Date:01/09/2012
It looks exactly like the pictures. Assembly is easy-peasy; no tools required, you just screw 7 threaded pieces together. You'll probably spend more time taking it out of the box than building it. It's very well made, all steel construction, and even the threaded ends are heavy and reinforced. The powdercoat gloss red finish was perfect without any marring. The more you hang on it the more stable it becomes, but even with just one heavy wool coat it was still quite sturdy. If you wanted, you could easily fill the legs with steel shot to make it even more stable.
