Love....but a bit disappointed

As soon as I saw these I fell in love. I bought the set of 6. They're really a conversation piece. Unfortunately after the 3rd time washing them the decals began to fall off. I didn't stick them in the dishwasher, just washed by hand very carefully. Great price but the decals don't last at all and that's the only reason why I bought them. :(

Initially Cute, Permanently Regrettable Purchase

DO NOT PURCHASE. The decals are very sensitive to washing and water. Only 1 of the 6 in the set still has a picture on it. Additionally, the actual glass the set is made from is VERY thin, fragile, and chips/breaks easily. I'd stick to collecting the Oliver plate and pass, pass, pass (!!!!) on any Oliver glass.

Great gift for entertainers

I got these and the matching appetizer plates to give a friend at a gift swap party. My friend is a 30-something guy, married, and he and his wife often have elaborate dinner parties where they host ten or more people. He loved the set and used it the very next time they entertained. My only regret is not doubling up on the glasses and plates given the size of the parties they normally throw.

Fun Little Martini Set

My son is recently married and they bought a new bar for their family room. These little martini glasses are just one of many items I purchased from CB2 for the two of them. I have gift ideas for them for at least the next four special occasions.

I bought the oliver martini set as a gift for my son. The first time he hand washed the glasses the decals started to peel off. What a disappointment! He already owned the appetizer plates that coordinate with the glasses. The good news is that CB2 immediately gave us store credit for the purchase.

I received two of the Oliver martini glasses as a gift last Christmas and was very careful to hand wash them. Still the designs rubbed off after only a few uses, and I was really sad about my ruined Christmas gift.
I'm surprised CB2 is still selling them a year later considering everyone seems to have this same problem.

Love and Disappointment

I ordered 2 each of 3 images. They are adorable. I unwrapped the excellent CB2 box packaging and caringly place the martini glasses into the dishwasher. After work I removed them from the dishwasher and 2 of the 6 glasses had had the images removed. Love hurts. I will ask for replacements and suggest washing by hand to all.

The verdict is still out. I absolutely love Oliver & have all of the appetizer plates. My friend has these glasses and warned me that the design came off but they were so cheap online I just had to order htem. I would be very bummed if I'd bought them as a gift for a friend and they had problems, but I knew what I was getting into.
There are not many websites where you can find this type of whimsy.

I bought this set of martini glasses for a christmas present. The glasses have a very cute design but the decals started to fall off after just a few handwashes! Very embarassing and not the quality that I expected from CB2.

Very poor and defective oliver martini glasses. After the first HAND wash little party guys come done... Glasses with chery and olive remained simple a white glass... A lost my gift and a good mood...:(
