great little sofa... even the cats agree

This sofa was a great find for our studio loft apartment. Floor space is at a premium, plus we needed a fairly lightweight sofa, so this really fit the bill.
We actually removed the cheap plastic feet (using a square screwdriver head to remove the special screws, kind of strange) and added heavy-duty locking casters instead so we could wheel the sofa out when needed, and this is working great so far. One person is able to maneuver the sofa through the double doors because the design is so compact and light.
We also like that the sofa has a low profile. Not so low that you don't feel like your back is supported, but it's nice because the sofa doesn't seem so hulking in the room.
A couple of drawbacks:
- It's supportive and well-padded, and I can stretch out on it (I'm 5'6"), but it is not super comfy for cuddling on the couch. If you really want to burrow in, I'd recommend some squishy throw pillows and blankets to make it more comfy.

- Also, for some reason the upholstery is a total cat magnet. Despite our plethora of scratchers and other diversions... something about the texture of the upholstery is extremely appealing to the cats! We've just had the sofa for a couple of weeks and already there are countless snags in the weave. We have trimmed them off with tiny scissors but we just can't keep these felines from attacking it.
Overally, I would recommend this couch to anybody looking for a great, smaller sofa. With the caveat that your cats might really enjoy it too!
PS: The customer service at my local CB2 store was great too. If you live near a store, I would recommend buying it directly from them because you tend to get better, personalized service at the point of sale and in the future if you have any problems with your purchase.

Atomically In Love!

This bright sofa is a fantastic addition to my small NY apartment. It could seat 3-4 people comfortably and adds a great pop of color to the living space. I love it more and more each day. Its firm and sturdy with a low back so of you're looking for something to cradle you, this isn't the right sofa for you. But if you want a piece of mid-century inspired art coupled with modern sleekness, you must buy this sofa! It has been my centerpiece of inspiration while adding complimentary accessories to create a modern but retro living space that I can call home.

Perfect sized- and stylish sofa for studio apt

I thought that finding a sofa (and not a loveseat) for a studio apt was impossible. All the sofas I liked were just too wide, long and tall. I almost gave in to getting a loveseat but after a few months, I found this one. At 74" wide, it's perfect! I got the atomic color which I love and it's pretty comfy. Customer service was also great. I bought the the sofa and it delivered on time, without any problems in 7 days!

Chic little sofa

I've been searching for a new sofa for my modern apt, and had my eyes on this sofa the minute i saw it on the cover of catalogue. I went into store and tried all the sofas. This and the movie sofa were the most comfortable ones, in different ways though. This one do not let you sink in like the movie sofa, but it has a lot of support and has a rubbery bouncy feel. your back wouldn't feel tired if you sit upright or lean forward. for me, this makes it more useful. The size is smaller than most, and it is super light (easily lifted by one hand). Perfect for small space that needs a all around sofa with a splash of color. Not for those who likes soft cozy sofa that cuddles you.
