Sawhorse base in solid ash cross-legs at the perfect counter height: kitchen island, bar, hi-dining, hi-desk, drafting table, meeting space, you name it. Great design, not the best table-top material.

I have an open layout kitchen connecting to the living room with no dining room space; I purchased this table for the kitchen because it's narrow and well-sized to seat 4 when pulled out, and since I already had 2 counter stools for my bar, that's already 2/4 dining chairs needed for this table. The price is right for it at $150, the delivery people were friendly, assembly was a breeze, and it looks great. My only problem with it is the melamine top; one corner wasn't glued down properly so I can see the potential for the top to be pealed off, or bubble up over time. The care instruction also recommends not putting hot and wet things on the top, which can be a pain when it's used as a kitchen table. It's not worth it for me to do a return or exchange, but I've ordered numerous things from CB2 and this is the first item with a slight defect that I've ever received.
All things aside, however, it's a very versatile piece. I can see it being used as an office desk / studio desk also. Counter-height tables are rare and this is one of the best out there.

I use this table in my art studio. It is just what I wanted- nice height, smooth top, easy to clean. Assembly was very easy. The design is simple and pleasing.

Finally ordered the Frank Counter table when the price dropped to $199.00. Shipping and tax was a little steep but still under the original price.
CB2 called a day in advance with the delivery details and it arrived right on time.
Assembly was a breeze with no defects or blemishes in the table whatsoever. Very happy. The table is very solidly put together.
