This lamp looks great; the rectangular shade gives it a nice modern look. It was very easy to assemble. The packaging took longer to remove than the lamp took to put together. While there was a lot of packaging, it made a nice boat for the kids to play in.
Make sure to note that this lamp is a little shorter than typical floor lamps. It's great in a corner where it is primarily used as a reading lamp.
Delivery was fast too. Took only a couple of days.

The lamp fits perfectly in our family room, and the light is great for reading and general ambiance. The shade diffuses the light nicely. Great buy, and was easy to install. Nice touch providing the bulb.

Pleasantly surprised on how well the lamp is constructed and how fast it took me to assemble it myself. For the price I wasn't expecting such a quality product. I just wish the lamp was taller.

This lamp is just what I was looking for. It is slim, modern, not too expensive, and very pleasing to the eye. It is perfect next to the bed in my guest bedroom and provides the right amount of lighting, perfect for reading. Well packaged and easy to assemble.

I have a hard time finding colorful furnishings, so this lamp was a great find. Very nice color, packaged well for shipping and a great price. I just wish it were a bit taller.

Love this lamp. Sleek, modern. minimalist design. Fits perfectly in my New York City apartment.
However disappointed in the quality control of the shade. Came with a couple dirt spots. There is stuff trapped between the fabric and the inner plastic that's quite visible when the lamp is on. And the inside of the shade(plastic) has some deep scratches. It almost looks like the shade is used. Otherwise I would have given five stars.
But I've decided to live with the imperfections.

Great quality and easy installation. The shipment of the item came as expected. The lamp is a bit on the short side, but that was my fault for not scoping that before I purchased; however, the height of the product actually adds good dimension to the bedroom.

I bought this lamp in addition to the Nash lamp. Their finishes are a little different, but they still look really nice in the same room. I ended up using this as an office lamp so I wouldn't have to take up any desk space. The height of the lamp works perfectly for that! The shade material is really easy to keep clean, and the lamp itself is super sturdy. It looks awesome next to the desk a purchased a while back from Crate & Barrel:)

John serves as an excellent floor lamp. Simple, sturdy, and sleek; a good fit with any decor. I love his boxy shade. The metal finish is a dark brownish color. The lamp arrived well packaged and very easy to put together - even came with the bulb. He was just what I was looking for to light up that dark corner of my living room.

Love this lamp. Very sturdy, quality lamp. I love the modern sleek and simple lines. It is a shorter lamp, so measure before you order. I have it in the living room over the end of my couch and it is a great reading light. It is bright, but not too bright.

First purchase at CB2 did not disappoint. I needed a simple floor lamp that would illuminate a corner of my den with high vaulted ceilings. Particularly one that provided overall light versus directed (task) light. I searched most of the well known online resources and came up empty. This lamp is extremely well made and very sturdy for it's price point. Will fit in any environment-modern to traditional.

This lamp is great for the price. It is very solid and sleek. It would go with any decor. The base and stem is heavy and very sturdy. We have a small townhome and it fits perfectly.
