Great desk and I love it. In today's ergonomic world it was an oversight to put the critical horizontal support brace at the exact hight of most wall power outlets! This means if the perfect place for you to put your desk is right where a wall outlet is, the bar will block your outlet. Since most outlets (in the US anyway) are at a standard hight from the floor this should have been taken into consideration. The fix for this is to purchase a wall-hugging extension chord and plug things into that.

We are very happy with our new desk!
We bought it from Italy and we were worried about the shipping, but everything was ok. The desk arrived even earlier than we thought. Very easy to assemble It is nice to have all the messy stuff out of sight in the drawer, but at the same time ready to be used whenever needed. Thank you!

this a solid piece of furniture that gives me tons of room, enough for me to fit 2 laptops, 3 keyboards and a monitor to boot while junk is kept under the surface. love how it keeps my space nice and clutter-free with a substantial amount of elbow room.
only flaw is that it desperately needs a better locking mechanism. as other reviewers have noted, the drawer can slide too easily when you apply your elbows/forearms on the desk. this could be a very annoying issue especially when doing lots of work. would appreciate it if the folks at cb2 could address this and provide supplementary hardware for current owners to keep this from being so problematic.

better in theory than reality

this desk is okay. firstly, it's low. I cannot tuck an Aeron Chair (with arms) under it.
Secondly, the drawer is a good idea in theory: in reality there are a few critical flaws:
#1: you probably have stuff all over your desk: if you do, you cannot open drawer easily
#2: every time i sit at the desk, with my forearms and elbows on the desk, the drawer inevitable slides out. it really needs a locking mechanism.

Solid but has problems

So first I thought the strangely placed drawer would be neat but the back part of the desk that doesn't move is a few inches short of working with my iMac and laptop stand. A couple more inches would allow for easier access without having to move your stuff every time.
It is really well build and sturdy but there's a support beam right where I cross my leg so I knock it every time. I ended up removing it without compromising the sturdiness.
Also, wish the drawer locked in a little better so not to open so easily.

This desk looks great but as Bruce Wayne (Batman) once said, "Does it come in black?" You guys need a couple more color options. If it came in black, I would get one for home right away. Black goes with silver/aluminum colors just as well as white does.

I bought this desk to replace (and downsize from) a white corner desk. I use my tables as a computer desk & a sewing station, and the Torino is the perfect size for both! Computer on the left, sewing machine on the right. It was easy to assemble (dowels and screws) and looks uh-mazing.
The storage compartment under the table top is about 2 inches tall, so it'll be great for loose paperwork & any books you might need constant access to.

Bought this desk for my 12 yr old son and it is great. Vey functional and lots of space for him to work on. A very nice looking desk as well and great quality.

I love this desk, it's simple yet very modern. And the fact that you can stash things inside makes keeping it clean (or at least look clean!) much easier! Definitely recommend this!

I bought this desk for my bedroom to complement the High Gloss chest and nightstands, Plush bed and Cloud 16 lounge chair. It works perfectly! It was very easy to assemble with each piece clearly labeled. There is more than ample workspace and the "secret" drawer is genius. I am very pleased with this purchase.

i have been seeking a sleek desk for quite some time. i often find myself drawn to wood and white lacquer so this was a no brainer. not only is it simple and clean—the clever hidden storage really sold me. for someone who enjoys keeping tidy, it's the perfect way to hide the not so visually pleasing part of working at home. and, as always with the many cb2 products i own: great quality and craftsmanship.
