great function AND design beauty; keeps books "light" vs heavy stacks or luggish fixed shelving. base is very heavy, so be forewarned when attaching the column (easy but awkward)

small space storage solution for any space home or apartment....I was downsizing a very large bookcase and the Array worked perfectly. So I bought another to use in another room. Very sturdy and looks great.

I purchased this about 2 years ago and loved it. Each shelf screwed in and was sturdy. I then went and purchased a 2nd one. It IS NOT the same design as the one 2 years ago. The shelves 'slide' into place and while my bookshelf only holds dvd's it still leans forward and looks flimsy and awkward I am very unhappy with it.

Here is the deal... This is a great book shelve, however, you need two or three of them in order to: (a) make it look good, and, (b) actually have enough room to store books. Therein lies the problem. At $180 each, you will end up spending close to $400 or $600 dollars to get the desired effect, because you really need more than just one. Heck, they even recommend buying more than one in the product description. So, overall, it is nice, it is sturdy, it looks good, but it is just a bit too expensive.

It doesn't get more straightforward than this. It's really easy to assemble and the minimalist design makes it an easy piece to work into any room/decor. I am really happy with this item.

I bought this to store/display my law school textbooks. It is holding three years' worth of pretty heavy hard and soft cover books and seems very sturdy. I'm very happy with this purchase. It's functional but also makes the books look almost sculptural. Love it.

I have two of these -- one was a present. I used the first one as art piece in my living room. It's an astonishing object indeed -- it parades your books. But it also allies practicality to beauty. I moved in to a new house where my office does not have walls appropriate for shelving, so 2 of these hold plenty of books and fit odd places. It might seem strange that vertical storage might possibly be practical. Yet it really is ... the dividers actually provide convenient thematic breaks between books... but when full, the shelves look like the books are magically standing on top of each other. The titles read horizontally. The books pull out easily ... I have one next to my desk for the books I am currently working with. I love them shelves. Got the grey ones.

A very pretty decorative book case. Assembling was not easy as it was difficult to align the screws. Also shakes when books are placed on it. Not sure how long the tiny screws at the base will hold before the book case collapses. Can only be used for paperback books. No hard covers.

Bought one, then had to have a second one. I us one for a bookcase in a small spot between a dresser and a wall. I bought a second one for towels and washcloths in a small bathroom. Works very well for both applications.

i ordered this bookcase for my home office because it looked fun, didn't take up much room and still seemed to hold a lot of books. It worked out great. It's super easy to install and worked perfectly in the space.

I got the shelf in orange. It is very easy to put together (took about 5 mins.) , well made and looks great. It wont quite hold larger books (which is why it only got a 4 rating) but for smaller ones I highly recommend it.
