This rug is gorgeous. Small imperfections, which really give the rug character. Lots of color. Golden, walnut, moss green tones,. Exactly what I was looking for. I don't have kids so I'm not worried that this rug is not really plush, but I could see if you have little ones it would give some knees rug burns. We have tile floors so this rug adds some nice warmth and texture to our living room. The dogs love it! And with all of the colors and rougher texture, I am not worried that the pet stains will show. I would not have paid the full price, but the sale price makes this rug worth it.

Unexpected beauty

I bought a pair of these rugs for my office, which is in a distinguished mid-century modern building with a wood floor. I assumed they would be utilitarian and understated. I was delighted upon opening them! They catch the light with a subtle sheen, and have a rich range of color. They are sophisticated rustic, with a kind of lush dimensionality. I just bought two more of them on sale, to use at home. Thank you!

great rustic modern look

This rug has beautiful, varied, natural shades. It looks good on a wood floor where you don't want too much color contrast and don't want the rug to steal the show, so to speak. The square dimension is not right for every space, but works very good where a small to medium sized rug is needed. If you are looking for a super-soft rug, this is not it, being a bit more coarse than a wool rug, but only slightly so. I would not pay the full price for this rug, but for the $100 sale price it is an excellent value in terms of beauty, quality, and sustainability.

Great new rug

I needed a new rug for my living room and was looking for something with style that wasn't too expensive. I picked the hemp rug and received it 2 days ago. It is just great! Looks wonderful in my space and feels great on bare feet. My dog loves it too!

extremely disappointed - very bad rug

I've been shopping for rugs for over a year. I don't know what possessed me to buy this rug on a whim. Love & trust CB2 products I guess.
This rug's color is nice. It actually seems to have some grays in it. The quality is horrible though.
Run you hand across it; smooth one direction and rough the other. Edges are not even straight on mine. It is shedding like crazy. Vacuuming it only made all the uneven lengths of the pile stand out. It really is like a very large doormat in quality and texture.
I would not pay $40 for this rug at a discount store. I'd return it, but I ordered on 11/28, received on 12/5, didn't open and put on the floor till 12/28. That and $30 shipping here and who knows how much to ship back.

I was looking for a natural and neutral yet somewhat plush carpet for my family room. Unfortunately, this wasn't it. While it was natural (hemp) and plush, it had the look of matted fur of a wet, dirty dog.
Pass this one by.
