This is a nice little table for small homes. Looks good and is functional. The assembly is a bit cumbersome. I am not sure why there just isn't a small set of instructions, basically specifying what piece to attach first. I ended up having to detach a piece because it made attaching the hinged desk top impossible. I am also skeptical of the assembled structure's sturdiness. I am hoping the hinged top will not loosen too quickly. We'll see.

Minimalism at its best

I had a big desk. Now I have this one. I have never been happier with a purchase in my life. Note: I'm 5'2". Sitting in my Aeron chair at its lowest level, I'm at the perfect ergonomic height to work. If you are over 6 feet tall, this might not be the best desk for you, but I love it, especially the hidden compartment, where I store my hard drives, pens, Post-Its, etc.

Nice sturdy laptop table

I needed a laptop table and purchased the black chalkboard top because I wanted black and not for its chalkboard quality. Chalk and computers do not mix, so no chalk is going near this table. It's a nice sturdy, substantial laptop table. I have two large dogs and they don't knock it over, so that's a major plus.

I live in a cozy studio apartment and have been plunking my laptop on my sofa for more than one year. That's not good on my back nor is it good for my productivity. The Tucker table in white lightens up my decor, not to mention it was ridiculously easy to put together! I even did it after an afternoon at a wine festival. Big. Fan.

This desk is perfect for our daughter's bedroom. She can store her desk items and electronics (plugged in) under the lid, and can pull out the things she needs to draw or do homework. It's just the right height for her with a low chair, and it's big enough for her to spread out a book and some papers, but doesn't take up too much room.

I just moved into a small studio apartment and this fit my needs for needing a small space to do basic work without all the office clutter. The feature to tuck away my laptop and cables when I'm done is super neat. It's very sturdy and the installation was quick and easy. I'd recommend this to a friend more definitely.

Looks great and exactly what I want -- but in a small NY apt I need to be able to fold this up when I am not using it. I would happily give up the storage for this ability. So sad -- I've been searching for something like this that looked great too for a long time...

Convenient Little Desk

I work from home and like this little desk for when I don't feel like sitting in the office. I can easily move it to the couch, an arm chair, the chaise. It's pretty sturdy. It is difficult to open the top to get to stuff inside when my laptop is on it, but I usually just store extra cables and stuff in it, so it's not really a big deal. It does get little black scuff marks on the legs, but I hardly notice them and they easily rub away. Don't forget to put on the little pads on the bottom of the legs so they don't scratch the floor! It was super easy to put together by myself.

Great Desk

This Desk works perfectly for labtop storage and also as a desk. It probably is the most used piece of furniture in my house. I use it to work from and many times I use it as a TV tray and eat dinner off of it. It works perfect!! Absoultely would recommend it. The only set back is that it is kinda heavy and I have trouble sometimes moving/ scooting it around (cause I use it so much)

This is the perfect solution for those with a laptop and without a desk. We bought the Tucker Laptop Table in Camo and it serves well as both a laptop table and end table. It also is wonderful storage for my laptop, which otherwise sat on the TV stand!

I waited to buy this until it went on sale. Got the camo color. I had a very specific purpose in mind--as a phone table. Sadly the leg configuration prevents it from being flush against a wall--it sticks out a lot. It is also really heavy to move around. We love the color but overall it did not accomplish any of the goals we had for it.

Disappointed; too heavy for intended use

After overcoming the actual assembly, this little table was not what I expected.
Given its purpose, a hideaway table for laptop that you can pull over to your chair and back, I expected that it would be a little more mobile. The thing is really heavy; it does not glide. to move it, one must get up and position it, and then slide into the space remaining to use it at a chair. Sofa wise, it's a little easier to use.
Looks hansome enough; mine came with some of the poweder coat already scratched off an edge.

i bought the camo color of this laptop table. I love it! it's a really cool color, like olive-ish retro green, exactly what i expected. The metal is sturdy and thick and the paint is well-applied. This is a very high quality item, you won't be disappointed. It's got some weight to it, too, so it's not flimsy in any way.

My very unhappy CB 2 purchase

I needed a small table/desk, whatever to fit n my small bedroom in my small condo.I was not there when it arrived but a kind neighbor took it in,assembled it and put it in my place. Weeks later I got to see it for real and was blown away by the size. It appears to be made for the wee people. There is no way to use a chair in front of it unless it comes from a childs table set. I feel that it was close to $200.00 with shipping for a useless piece

I live in front of my laptop when I am at home and this table is perfect for working in front of. It is very sturdy, a perfect height for my couch and the storage are is perfect for hiding magazines and papers.
My only minor complaint is the lid, it is awkward to get a grip of the lid to lift and maybe if the outer edges bent out slightly it would be easier. This is a tiny complaint and I still love my table

We were very happy with the quality of this table. It's nice and solid, and the table top hinge opens and shuts easily. I had a little trouble lining up the screw holes. If you shift the table positioning, and use the weight of the leg or top to line up the holes, it helps. Once I got everything together, I was very very pleased. The green is beautiful.

When I saw this laptop table on the website I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I would really give this item a 3.5 rating because for such a simple piece it was not easy to assemble!! The holes to mount the desk were missaligned! After finally forcing the screws to fit was I happy with the product. This fits right over the arm of my loveseat and makes it easy to play on my laptop without having to sit at my desk. I also wish the desk legs weren't so dinky.
