Not a good experience. The sofa smells

This is the first time I brought a piece of furniture from an online furniture store
Concerning the sofa, it is a stocked piece and when it arrived, it smelled 'ducky' and 'gamy' and then I checked the details that it has 'down' mixed in the cushion. I simply can't stand that smell! Very disappointed. It was a beautiful piece. It was quite comfy but not to the extend of some of the comments.
Secondly, I took advantage of the free shipping ad message that popped up on the site the day I placed the order on 4/21, it turned out that the promotion was from 4/23....I didn't check the date carefully and I was charged $99 for shipping. I really didn't need a new sofa that desperately!
BTW, I was charged another $99 to return the sofa...so lost $200 for nothing....this teaches me the lesson of not buying sofas on-line ever again!

Probably the comfiest couch I've ever sat on. Sits low to the ground, carries a gorgeous neutral gray color. The long back pillow isn't attached so its easily converted to a bed for overnight guest. Did I mention its comfortable? And velvety soft too. Definitely recommend it!

I love this sofa. Comfortable/soft/great for naps. Unfortunately, I'm looking for a sectional (thus the 4 stars). This would be perfect if there was an extra corner component I could get along with two of these sofas and make it all into a sectional...

What the reviews say about the sag in the middle is true--I had read the reviews before purchasing. It has to be plumped up regularly--quite heavy, so I view it as good regular weight-bearing exercise. Otherwise the fabric, the shape and comfort are great. My dog regularly sneaks up there and starts scratching, but the fabric always smooths down miraculously. And looks totally fantastic in my music studio with my art and grand piano.

After 4 months of use, the bottom pillow sagged in the very middle of the couch. The bolster following along the lines of the bottom pillow sagged in the middle as well. the dip became so pronounced that what was once a very comfy couch is now a sinkhole and very difficult to get up from. Although the upholstered furniture looks chic and sexy it is of poor quality and doesn't hold up to everyday use. A sofa that sags after 4 months REALLY

Was a little freaked out about buying this sofa online w/o seeing it, but was so enamored with it I took the plunge. So happy I did! It's just gorgeous and lush and comfortable. I love to tuck my feet up when I sit down, & the depth of the couch lends itself to that. That said, it's REALLY deep - you can't sit in it with your back supported and your feet on the floor without getting your slouch on. In a perfect world I'd make it a few inches less deep...in the real world, I'll just add some pillows. :) And it's very much like a twin bed with the pillow off; already had one friend stay the night & he rated it 'super-comfy.' Easily the most expensive piece of furniture I own, so I'm glad I love it so! :)

The Perfect Storm

Considered several CB2 sofas and settled on the piazza in velvet storm color for several reasons: 1) we have a 3-year-old child, 2) the dimensions of the sofa, 3) sits low to the ground, 4) minimalist/armless design and 5) made in the USA. Very pleased with our choice.

This is one of CB2's most comfortable pieces of furniture. I love the close to the ground feel. I feel like I'm in bed. You can't beat the grey color - goes with almost any room, easy to clean or cover up the fuzzies.

I have loved the look of this sofa in the catelog for so long. I recently purchased a house in NC and really wanted this sofa to be a part of my livingroom, but was skeptical of making an online purchase without ever having tried it out! So last weekend I drove to Atlanta to sit on this couch and it was NOT a wasted trip! It is so comfortable and perfect for lounging and watching a movie. Atlanta store was so accomodating. They rearranged an entire section to build the room of my dreams. Thank you CB2!

Soft and Luxurious

I love this couch. The fabric is incredibly soft, the cusions supportive and so comfortable and the color is just gorgeous. If you are very tall, like myself, there are ups and downs - the length is perfect for a streched-legs nap but even when curled up because the width is so generous. The hardest part would be bending down to sit because of having long legs, but believe, once seated you're not gonna want to get up!! This was an awesome purchase.

I love this couch! Its the perfect lay down and cuddle couch as well as converts to a twin sized bed (except more comfy) when you take the back pillow off. ive had no complaints, although i did have this couch in the midnight blue and it forever got lint. drove me insane. this one ive spilt on and it didnt even stain. my bf complains bc there are no armrests, so thats the only downfall!!

Poor quality on the seat cushion

I bought this couch in January 2010 having loved it at the store. It's a great couch, it's comfortable and has great style. Unfortunately the quality of the main seat cushion is lacking. After just only a year of use, the main cushion showed a visible and uncomfortable dip in the middle where I and most my guests would sit and relax. In March 2011 I had the bottom seat cushion replaced. The foam that makes up the cushion is not good quality does not hold up it's shape at all. My replacement cushion which I have used since then is now showing the same issue. I will get the cushion replaced again and have no issues so far with CB2 customer service (which has been great). They also have a life-time guarantee on their products which is wonderful. This is a review for the couch however and I'll have to give this one a 1 out of 5 until they have fixed the cushion issue.
If you're buying this couch for occasional use then I doubt you would really hit this issue. Being that this is my main couch and it is meant to be lounged on for hours at a time as evidenced by its design, I would not recommend it.

This couch is sooo comfy. It will suck you in. We redid the kids "playroom" and now with this couch, the peek a boo coffee table and the chill media center, it is the room everyone wants to hang out in.

Lived Up to My Expectations

I have been drooling over this sofa for about six months. I finally made the decision to get it and I love it SO much. It's so comfortable to sit or lie down on, it's roomy for me and a couple of my friends to sit and chat, and it's soft and luxurious. It squashes down after someone has sat or lied on it, but the cushions can easily be fluffed up. I love the neutral color... I just love everything about it! I just got it last week, and I hope it keeps on living up to my expectations! Thank you, CB2!!

As soon as I sat in the couch in the cb2 store I practically whipped out my credit card and couldn't buy it fast enough. It doesn't disappoint in my home either. Its sink into comfy and cozy, wide enough so that your knees are supported, and the right height for lounging but easy to get up from. I can't say enough about this couch we all love it especially my dog.

The Insomnia Cure

We love this couch! We sat on this couch at the store (correction our dog sat on the couch and refused to get up!), saw its neutral color, loved the rich feel, and decided to go for it. We have a guest bed, but most of our guests prefer to crash on this couch. We call it the insomnia cure. Comfortable, great lines, and resilient microfiber.

This sofa is amazingly comfortable. The cushions may require some fluffing, but in my opinion if you want a sofa that is this comfy, you should be willing to fluff it up if need be, besides the cushions are not attached so it is not a difficult process. Great material and color as well, and easy to clean if your kids like to do art projects on the new couch like mine do!

Just received this piece for my studio/extra guest room, It is as great as it looks in the images. I can't wait until the entire room is complete with all my extras, it's comfy to take a nap or sleep through the day or night.

Finally found my sofa

OMG! I can't believe I finally found the perfect sofa....so perfect, I bought 2. Delivery was perfect.......the color, fabric, and design exceeded my expectations!
The fabric is a very soft micro fiber (I'm thinking), and everything wipes off with a slightly damp rag.....I have
a clumsy brood and since the sofas are in the "family"
room, the family is using them.
I highly recommend these to anyone...
