Paint chips off VERY quickly

I adored this desk when we first purchased it, but now after only a few short months, the glossy white finish is chipping off along the front edge and bottom and looks just awful. We have not been abusing it, just normal office use. Badly done, CB2.

This is a great work table. It's easy to assemble, sturdy, and has lots of tabletop space. It also has room underneath to stretch your legs. It looks great in my home office.

purchased two of these desks for our home office and we have been very pleased. the size is just right and so is the look! we had glass cut for the top to protect it and give it a little extra something. would definitely recommend to anyone!

Clean, Fabulous Desk

I'd been looking for a desk for while and knew exactly what I wanted: space for legroom and nothing else. The R2 desk is a clean design and really pretty. I love that it's not particular-board or extra-heavy wood. It's a snap to put together, although it does suggest having two people since it's helpful to hold one part in place while securing it.

We live in NJ but was visiting a CB2 store in Santa Monica. My daughter fell in love with the utility and design of the R2 desk and a matching white drawer than she saw on display. We bought both pieces and installed a mirror with a light in it so now my 14-year-old has a station for her hair care, cosmetics and homework. An absolute efficient and beautiful solution!!!

This desk holds my three 24" monitors with no problem. The white finish is awesome, and the construction is very sturdy.
NOTE: You can use dry erase markers on the surface! This was an amazing discovery for me. Good-bye post-its.

what's so great about this desk is there's nothing "fancy" to it - it's sleek, can fit with any decor, and is 100% functional for daily use. if you work from home full time, this is the perfect desk. the height allows for a good size office chair (i purchased it with the black studio chair). this is by far my favorite cb2 purchase that feels like it will stick around for quite some time. the ONLY somewhat negative thing i would point out: beware of scratching the surface. it's going to happen - so if you can't take a scratch here and there on a shiny white surface this desk may drive you a little nuts and you might become paranoid about scratching it.

I love the R2 desk! I bought it together with the chartreuse filing cabinet as shown in the photo and they are great together. The desk is spacious enough to let you spread out whatever project you are working on, and the top is high enough that you can cross your legs without hitting the bottomside of the table. I looked at a bunch of desks online and in person before selecting the R2 desk. I am so glad I chose it -- I am highly satisfied with this product.

I love this desk, it is perfectly modern, good size (has good depth for computer monitors)...I only took a star out because, as a previous customer said, there were 2 screw holes that were not drilled correctly, making it hard to assemble. I had to leave them without screws, hoping it will stand still! Overall looks good.

Needed a desk to fit into a small home office and liked the clean white look. Upon delivery, assembly was relatively easy and the finished product is high quality and very solid. Now I just need a new chair to match...

Sturdy desk with metal base and beautiful high gloss finish. Plan to cover top with acrylic sheet and use for art table. Perfect size for my small space. Easy to assemble. One screw hole was not drilled correctly.
