I recently purchased these sets for my new apartment and they are perfect! Modern, clean-lines and very light to hold they look stunning on the table. Perfect size for the dishwasher and alot bigger than I thought they would be. Highly recommend for a modern home!

I was a little hesitant buying this glasses at first thinking they would break at first use, but boy was I wrong. They are not nearly as brittle as they look! They are so elegant and beautiful, but still stand up to toddler and husband with not-so-careful-hands. All thumbs up!

I first used these glasses at a friend's party. Light, durable and cool enough for me to ask the host where she bought them. First time I've ever done that! Definitely recommend these.

These remind me of some glasses I purchased in Europe some years ago and have been wanting to buy more but it is difficult to bring back 36 glasses so this was perfect. They arrived perfectly packed and in great condition. Highly recommend.

We live in Vermont and entertain a lot. Not many people in this state get to shop at CB2 so the glasses wow our guests- they can't believe they are made of glass! I like how light they feel in your hand and how they stack up in the cabinet - I stack 6 together and have 18 on hand. They get 5 stars from my household!

These are incredibly delicate and sensual glasses that bring happiness to me each time I drink from them. I gave away ALL of my other glasses. Good for wine, smoothies, water. Will buy more.

These are the best glasses! The quality had kind of dipped for a bit, so I put off purchasing any for awhile, but after a recent move I pulled the trigger for 3 sets to have on hand for my housewarming. Am I glad I did! Everyone loved them and CB2 will most likely be getting a few more orders from my friends. You will not be disappointed.

These glasses evoke the aesthetic appeal of drinking from crystal champagne flutes. As with all treasured items, they must be handled with care, but I am going to buy some more to have replacements on hand.

thin and fragile

We loved the style of these glasses, and ordered 2 sets in 2011. When they arrived we were surprised by the poor quality of craftsmanship, but kept them since we needed them for a party. Just over a year later, we have 6 left. They broke in the dishwasher, they broke dropping ice in them, they broke if a stiff wind blew into the room or they were exposed to bad vibes.

I love there glasses and as long as CB2 sells there glasses I will only buy these. These glasses feel so light when you touch them, don't be fooled bring on the ice and your favorite drink. These glasses are strong and sturdy..

Let me tell you how long I have been looking for this style of glassware. I have been obsessed with a particular glass Ina Garten uses on The Barefoot Contessa show and cookbooks to serve cocktails. I have searched high and low and this is the closest thing. Simple, modern, classic. Don't be scared with the thinness, they are not that fragile, and can be put in the dishwasher, and for the price, if it cracks or breaks, at least it doesn't hurt the pocket in replacing it. Totally recommend looks great with water to your favorite cocktail. Margaritas recommended :)

Yes, these glasses are very thin but THAT IS precisely why I love them. I am a very visual person and the Martas could almost be part of a dutch still life due to their delicate silhouette. Simply beautiful and graceful!
During a month-long trip through Northern Spain I noticed over and over again that many bars served cold drinks in glasses very similar to the Martas. When I ran across these on the CB2 website I knew I had to get them. I was not disappointed when they arrived. Now I serve all my drinks in these glasses (iced and not iced) and have since gotten rid of every other type of glass I owned before. They are light and feel delicate but are not so fragile that you have to be afraid to use them.

The glass is too thin. Two arrived broken. One cracked when I dropped an ice cube in it. They say dishwasher-safe, but two of our glasses had cracks after the first use. They're all going back.
As other reviews note, another con is that they feel like plastic. When we had people over, they said the glasses feel cheap. Not exactly the comments you want to go when hosting.

Love these simple, very thin glasses! So far, no breakage, and we use them for milk, wine and cocktails. They're so inexpensive that we won't feel bad if they DO break. Drinks look great in them!

I have lusted after these glasses for a long time, but held off until purchasing new dinnerware. They are everything I hoped. Just the hint of a glass really. Very modern. They seem thin, but have found them to be fine and, if I do break one, they are so reasonably priced getting more is no big deal.
