I coveted these sheets for months and finally after getting my tax refund, I splurged and bought them. I regret it a lot. Don't get me wrong, they feel like absolute bliss and the color is wonderful. However, they do not last and they are very thin. I've always read that linen lasts forever, not the case with these. Within 2 months, the fitted sheet developed holes in it. These sheets are so thin that I could see my mattress pad under them. For the money I spent, I was so disappointed that the fitted sheet fell apart. I wasn't rough with them, I laundered them with care and even line dried them. I do not recommend these sheets if you're looking for durable linen.

Worth Every Penny
Date:09/06/2012
I've never spent $200 on sheets before and was hesitant to splurge. However, the color was just what I was looking for (nice dark charcoal without being like '80s black sheets) and the linen was intriguing. Well, we're obsessed. The texture against your skin is addictive and the linen is cool on hot summer nights, yet warms up nicely when you use your duvet on top. They do 'shed' like crazy each time they go through the dryer; not sure if that will settle down or not. But it has not compromised the quality of the sheets -- we have washed several times and they are still like brand new. Color has not faded either. I also purchased the organic grey Percale sheets from CB2, and they are fine, but nothing compared to these! Bottom line: treat yourself!

Good, not great
Date:08/25/2012
First, I'd like to point out some things to people who (like me) are not familiar with linen. Don't make the same mistake I did and want to immediately return these sheets upon receiving them - they are rougher than sandpaper and the thread count is about 5 (you can see through them from a distance). You MUST wash these before first using them, and once you do, they are very soft and temperature-regulating. Wash and dry them on low, and take them out of the dryer after about a half an hour. They lose a lot of material in the process, so be careful not to wear them out.
After a wash, these are great (well, good) sheets. They have a "rugged" look that looks very sophisticated. They also seem to take on the character of the material they are covering; so, for instance, if you have a rough material underneath, these will also seem rough. Overall, I don't think they are worth the price, but if you know you want linen then go for it.

Fitted sheet and pillowcase issues
Date:08/17/2012
Overall they are very comfortable. Pillowcase ties tear off easily and fitted sheet has not held up well at all.

heavenly
Date:03/06/2012
i have been looking for affordable linen sheets for years and was so excited about finding these! I had some hesitation about the color being too dark but decided to go for it anyway. I am soooooo pleased. Super soft and high quality! The color is more of a soft black than what i think of as charcoal grey but i don't even care at this point, they are just so great to sleep in. I hope they offer them in a few more colors.

Best sheets ever!
Date:01/03/2012
These sheets are amazing quality and by far the best set I've ever had. They washed up beautifully, are soft and so comfortable to sleep on. The color is fabulous and looks great with the Untitled duvet (very sophisticated and modern). I would buy these sheets in other colors!

Snuggly!
Date:03/20/2011
These feel great! A little rough to the hand, but really nice to sleep in. They drape around your body and feel really comforting. It is spring now, so still cool, but I imagine these will be at their best in the summer, when they will wick away moisture. Or not...maybe they will be clammy, but I hope for the best! In any case, great at this time of year! Also, I washed and dried them in a fairly small machine and they came out fine, once I spread them out a bit. No ironing needed.
