UPDATE ON CARE INSTRUCTIONS

i was able to revive my paddle board by coating it generously with food-safe, non-toxic mineral oil (heated to warm to increase absorption). applied a generous coat with a paper towel, allowed to soak in, wiped off excess, and it's back to new! :) happy to share this important tip although i believe the proper care instructions should have been provided with the product. thank God for the internet!!!!

gorgeous BUT discolored completely!

i was so happy with this purchase UNTIL it became completed discolored after the first use. it presented all my cheese wedges, crackers, and grapes beautifully. however, after our party, i carefully washed and towel-dried the board (with tons of paper towels) and found it to be totally discolored the next morning. it would be GREATLY appreciated to know what products to use to seal the color in or protect the wood (i.e. oils). PLEASE HELP WITH TIPS! thank you and Happy Thanksgiving to all! God bless!

Discolored after use

The wood discolored after the first time I used it. There's now a dark spot on one part. I just used water, and hand washed it, let it air dry and now then it discolored.

This is my favorite cheese serving piece! Very attractive and substantial plus well balanced enough to use as a serving tray. I had an outdoor wine and cheese party and I was able to carry all my cheese and other food out on this tray then rearrange to serve. The cheese cutters work very well, they slice the cheese like it was butter. I am VERY happy with this set!

I love the plank. Beware, it is big. I am actually using it as a "table" top for the arm of my white leather sofa. It wasn't plan for that but it fit so perfectly and so convenient that I think it will stay there until the next wine and cheese night :)

Very slick looking. I gave this to my friends who have a history of being gifted ugly cheese plates and they absolutely loved it! Can be complemented with a nice round or straight cheese cutter.

Photo does not do this justice. It is a substantial serving piece, nice clean lines, large enough for 4 wedges of cheese or 3 small bowls. Easy to clean.
