parlour oatmeal chair
great dane. Oatmeal slubby is no slouch on bona fide living room chair inspired by our thing for Danish design. Barrel arms curve in a warm minimalist hug that looks great from all angles. Clean tapered back offsets deep comfy cushion. Love how the dark tuxedo legs play off the neutral textured fabric...neat back angle on legs, too. Love this chair

We bought two of them and one ottoman to match. We had been looking for chairs that don't look huge and bulky but are nevertheless comfortable and stylish. I was a bit worried that the oatmeal color might be a bit too bright, having kids and all, but they turned out to be just a tiny bit darker then they appear on the pictures without looking dark so I think stains won't be as obvious as otherwise. Just perfect for any size of a living room.

Classic and Functional!

We purchased two of these chairs for our living room. I cannot say enough how perfect they are. We paid full price and I wouldn't even flinch to do it again they are a great investment. They are not huge like many chairs so they'll fit in a smaller area, yet when I sit on one I can definitely curl up comfortably with a book. The neutral fabric is great too and the craftsmanship seems lasting.

Ordered 2 for my living room - they look fantastic, are very comfortable, and seem very sturdy. I recommend ordering the swatch as on line it looks like a more uniform color. The variation in the fabric is lovely. I prefer it to a more uniform look.

Great Mid Century Modern Chair

This chair fits perfectly in our living room. It's got a great mid-century style, is comfortable and surprisingly easy to clean. I had it less than a week when a friend spilled red wine on it, and I was able to blot out the stain completely. It is a little yellower in color than it looks on the website. I love this chair!

Best chairs ever

After purchasing a new sofa when we first moved to NYC, we desperately needed two new chairs to go with it - our chairs were simply too big and bulky. A friend suggested looking into CB2. The very first chairs I saw (Parlour chair in oatmeal) were simply perfect. They took up lots less space than my bulky chairs, they are extremely comfortable, and they blend perfectly with my "tomato" colored sofa. We couldn't be happier. The delivery was very prompt and the delivery people completely set up the chairs and took away all the packing. Thank you. I will definitely return to CB2 for our next furniture purchase.

I bought 2 of these chairs for my living room. Good quality. Sometimes pics online can be decieveing but these are very nice stylish chairs. Comfortable too. Wish they had more color options though. Still very pleased with purchase

First let me say the Parlour Chair is without question a comfortable addition to any room. Being 6ft tall, I was worried it would be too short to get in and out of comfortably, but the design is great and this isn't an issue.
Unfortunately, two things keep me from giving this piece a higher rating. I find the color of the chair to be noticeably darker in-person than in the photos. I'd suggest anyone thinking about purchasing this to see it in-store or zoom-in as far as possible online. Those darker strands really stand out when you're looking at in-person.
The second issue is my chair arrived with one leg shorter than the other three. This obviously causes the chair to wobble. While this might not be a concern for some, I feel furniture should arrive in proper condition.

When I saw this chair online, I wasn't sure what to expect - for some reason I thought it was going to be a bit more bulky than it is. It's kind of short, and very sleek. The pup likes it too. As with the bolla sofa, it has a deep seat - perfect for lounging. Gorgeous. I paired this with the pixel rug and carbon bolla sofa. They all look GREAT together.

i purchased this chair to go with the parlour sofa i already owned. it not only looks great, but it's by far the most comfortable chair i've ever owned. i also know this because my little lemon beagle always finds the most comfortable spots. i often find her snoozing there (when i'm not enjoying it).

We recently purchased a parlour oatmeal chair for our condo, and find that it is just perfect in terms of style, comfort, color, price, and size. Getting a piece of fabric first was a great idea to be sure that the color fit. We find this chair perfect in every way and highly recommend it to future buyers.

My boyfriend convinced me to replace our chairs with two of the oatmeal parlours. I am so glad he twisted my arm. They are super comfortable, go very well with our decor and feel very durable. We've had our chairs for four months and they are holding up well to frequent use.

I couldn't be happier with my Parlour Chair in oatmeal. It goes great with the mid-century modern look I have going on in my living room. The fabric's black underweave makes the chair more approachable and welcoming than it looks online. It's roomy enough to curl up in, yet the scale is great for a small space. I love sitting in it, but sometimes I sit on the sofa just so I can look at it :)

Elegant and comfortable chair

this is a fantastic chair - what makes it unique is that it is elegant and looks gorgeous in my living room yet is a comfortable chair that people want to sit in. The darker flecks in the oatmeal fabric means it is much more practical than most light fabric furniture. The service in store was fantastic, they talked through how to care for it well and gave me a swatch of fabric to take to ensure it worked with the fabrics I already had at home.

We absolutely love the parlour chair! The chair is very cozy and comfortable - perfect for lounging around, curling up with a book or hanging out and surfing the web. We suggest you buy an ottoman or a knitted poof to add an extra level of comfort when lounging about.
We purchased the chair after reading the great reviews about this chair - all reviews are accurate.
Tip to Canadian shoppers - when buying furniture items CB2 charges a flat-shipping rate - take advantage of this and buy many furniture items at once.

I purchased this chair for my son's first apartmet. It is a great, comfortable chair and has held up very well. It's sturdy and a perfect size for a small space. It's my favorite piece in his apartment. The rounded barrel feel of the chair is perfect. Has ample seating space, yet surrounds you and gives great back support. If he had a bigger bedroom, I'd buy another!
