This rug is exactly as pictured - hallelujah! I didn't NEED a new rug, but I DID need this saturated color, fabulous design, and thick, luxurious pile. Another plus - it arrived 2 weeks earlier than promised, and, of course, in perfect condition - just before the arrival of out-of-town guests. I had to complete this by adding the Pond Bowl on top of my round glass coffee table. I am very happy.

Everyone Loves My Rug

I wanted an area rug to complement my hardwood floors and to draw people towards my couch and chairs. I love the deep blue color and how it blends well with my light gray couch with dark blue and red accent pillows. Visitors comment favorably on my rug and are surprised to learn I ordered it from CB2 without having seen it in person. The only contention among my guests - should the bird tracks be heading towards my balcony as though they were leaving or from my balcony as though they were entering, and why bird tracks? Who knew a rug could be such a fun conversation piece?

I am very happy with this pretty blue rug. It is a deeper blue than I thought it would be but the teal color tone still goes with the colors in our home. It tends to shed a bit - seems to fill up the vacuum quickly with blue fibers, but the rug has a tight weave that makes it feel nice under foot. it does not leave fuzz all over the house so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Gorgeous rug

I had my eye on this rug for a while on the website and once I saw it in person, I knew I had to have it. The blue is so vivid, it brightens up the room like crazy. It's got a nice thick pile which feels great under your feet. In my house, it does need to be vacuumed daily -- my dog sheds white hair and there's no hiding it on this rug. Whatever, it's so worth it.

Like a lot of the other reviews mention, it does shed! It fills up my dyson vacuum every time. And it does show everything, BUT I love the look of the rug. The color is very similar to what you see online and it looks great in my living room. I am happy with my purchase and recommend it!

I purchased this run for my South Beach apartment. I love the playful design and the deep colors. It did shed a good deal at first, but that stopped after about 1 month.

I've been eyeing this rug for a long time and finally decided to get it to match our chocolate-colored sofa. The quality is excellent, really deep and cushy, and the white pattern is so unique. We got the rug saver pad to go with it, just to prevent any color transfer to the beige carpet. Can't wait to have friends over so I can show it off!

This is a very attractive rug, but it does shed a LOT. It killed my cheapo vacuum so make sure you have one with lots of suction. Also, my cats LOVE it, meaning they use it to file down their claws. They haven't done too much damage and I spray it with cat calming pheromones so that keeps the scratching at a minimum. Still, I wouldn't recommend if you have cats. They just love the wool and since it sheds easily I find blue puffs all over the house. Great if you don't have pets.

I like the look of this rug and have received many compliments on it. It is very reasonably priced. My only complaint is that the it sheds a lot and light dust or bits of paper show up very clearly on the rug.

Like the previous reviewer, I've also found that this rug needs constant vacuuming, but that's about the only negative that I've found. The rug is pretty thick, comfortable, and very attractive in person. The white footprints are just slightly off-white which might make a difference to someone else. I'm using it to signal/mark off the "living room" in my studio apartment and it's the perfect size for that. Compared to everything else I found in this color scheme, style, and size, this rug is definitely the best buy.

I really like this rug. It's a rich color and makes our living room feel complete. There is some shedding, and the rug definitely requires regular vacuuming because it shows every crumb/dust bunny. But overall the rug is a nice thickness and quality that seems durable.

The rug was true to color, and as dramatic as it appears in the photo. It is thick and soft, and big enough to give coverage both next to the bed and by the reading chair. The rug arrived first, and the pad a few days later, but bot arrived in a timely fashion. It providec the perfect finishing touch for our guest room.

This rug is beautiful, unusual, and eyecatching. As the Dude once said, it really ties the room together. I have it in my living room with dove gray furniture and bluish-gray walls. As with any dark-colored rug, it does tend to show lint sometimes, and I have noticed that there is some minimal pilling. However, these minor concerns are outweighed by how much I just love the rug's good looks.

Gorgeous rich color. Good quality, not a lot of shedding. The "bird footprints" (that is, the white abstract design) are larger that I thought they would be, but it's still really nice. I'm so pleased I got this rug. (And it came a month earlier than expected!)

I love this rug. I just moved into my condo last May and couldnt find a rug that really stood out yet didnt clash with my throw plllows (also by CB2). Then I found this one. Goes perfectly. LOTS of compliments. Funny thing is next day my dog chewed a whole right through it and the rug saver.. But CB2 has a swatch of this rug so I was able to purchase it and patch it myself. Overall great purchase.. And looks great..
