Great bowls of fire
Date:04/22/2013
Love these bowls. Wife accidentally broke two. Purchased 4 right away and received them within 6-7 days after this accident. Use them for cereal, soup, popcorn snacks, food prep, and food service. Great value!
These are a nice change from the typical shorter, wider bowl. I'd estimate this holds about 18 oz., maybe a little more - pretty typical bowl size, and what I'd consider a generous snack/dessert serving, or a reasonable meal serving. I can’t comment on long-term durability, but the overall weight and feel of the bowl is good - not too heavy or light, feels durable without being clunky. The base of the bowl is more tapered than I expected, but it is slightly weighted at the bottom, so it feels balanced and stable. Based on the picture, I expected a very slight rounded lip at the rim, but there actually isn’t one. Not really a big deal to me, but just thought I’d mention it in case it is to anyone else. I do agree with a reviewer below that these are not very stackable. It isn’t printed anywhere on the bowls themselves that they're microwave/dishwasher safe, but I’ll take the product description here for its word. I also like that they are made in Italy.

I didn't end up buying this bowl because it felt a little small and wasn't very stackable.

Great Bowls
Date:08/27/2011
I am always looking for small bowls that not only serve as easy props but also work really well for eating. They have to be functional. These bowls are great as breakfast or dessert bowls. I love that they are heavy and feel good in your hands when holding them. Great everyday bowls.

We love these bowls
Date:02/16/2011
My husband and I both love the unique shape of these bowls. They hold the same amount as any regular bowl and can be used for anything!! We've used them for cereal, rice, and ice cream so far. They look great on the cuatro platters and I even purchased 4 more to give to my mom and sister!

Attractive, Functional, and Versatile
Date:02/12/2011
These bowls are great. I have 8 at home and eat oatmeal out of them every morning. They are the perfect size and the fact that they are glass makes them super versatile. Great for serving snacks, pretty desserts, yogurt parfaits, you name it. Just be aware that they aren't very large so if you are looking for a good salad bowl try the "Modern Dinnerware" salad bowl or something else instead.

Perfect Soup Bowls
Date:02/03/2011
Great size and the glass allows soups to add a blast of color to the table. One drawback are the fingerprints you get all over the glass. Have to wipe them down before serving. Worth it!

Unique shape
Date:02/03/2011
I love the shape of these bowls! There have much steeper sides than many other bowls out there, and they have a smaller capacity. If you're looking to serve a traditional green salad, these won't work because they are not big enough. If you're looking for a beautiful bowl for fresh fruit, desserts, side dishes, or lettuce-free salads, these would be perfect. As with the plates, the glass is thick, perfectly clear, and has no blemishes.

Versatile attractive bowl
Date:11/02/2010
This bowl is a good size--about 20 oz. I can see using them for breakfast cereal, a generous serving of ice cream or fruit, or as small serving bowls.

best little bowl for cold sides
Date:04/01/2010
I had been looking for a nice bowl for cold side items and I found it here with the bari bowl. It's the right size for berries and cold vegetable salads. The bowl is sturdy; the glass walls are not thin so it should hold up well through many washes in the dish washer. I really like the shape, it's different than most I have seen.

I've been looking for a condiment bowl that doesn't take up much space but can hold plenty. These were perfect for nuts too.
