Ordered it online and I must say i'm very pleased with my purchase. It came on time, well packaged, and was easy to assemble. You will need an extra pair of hands to get this lamp up as the weight is pretty heavy, but once it's up...it's an industrial chic show stopper!! The faux brushed metal finish is just beautiful and does not look cheap in any way, not for a very feminine looking home! Highly recommended for higher ceilings ( 9' and over) because of its prescence but the cord length can be adjusted if its a must have.

Bought this lamp for our new house and it is one of the focal points. Everyone comments on it. Love the way it moves up and down for different effect. The simple and clean look of it is perfect for our contemporary home.

Am so pleased with this light. It makes a statement, without being obnoxious. The quality is so surprising given the price. Agree with previous comments about the color of the metal, it's a rich pewter, not cheapy at all. Snap to install. The light output is better than the "chandelier" it replaced with 3x60w bulbs, the inside of this pendant is white, so it really maximizes /reflects the 100W light. I've had it in place for over 4 months now, and still love it! I think this light is so versatile - it can fit in to an ultramodern or traditional home. you won't regret it

This lamp looks great in my kitchen! It looks far more expensive than it was. I had an electrician install it, which took 20 minutes at the most. I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this product!

We bought this pendent lamp to light a small art deco kitchen table as part of our modern decor. We are thoroughly pleased with the super modern design and quality of this pendant lamp. It provides just the right amount of light and is quite the conversation piece, especially given the level quality and design at this price.

I have bought two of these pully lights and they are great, they look very chic and expensive and add a bit of something interesting to a normal pendant. Plus the ability to move it up and down is an added bonus.

I fell in love with these Pulley Pendant Lamps online. But, being skeptical, I drove from San Diego to the store on Sunset Blvd. to check them (and the Firefly Pendant Lamp) out in person.
I was instantly struck by the size of the lamp. It definitely has "presence". The pewter color is perfect. Not too silver. Not to dark. Definitly not stainless steel-ish. It is a gray metal that has such a depth of "color" that is simply gorgeous. Chic and masucline at the same time. It will go with so many color schemes and design styles.
My husband and I are nearly complete with our custom home construction, so we have yet to install the lamps. BUT.... the 2 that I purchased are just waiting in their boxes to come out and SHINE over our bar!! You will be drawn to them as you enter our great room with the bar in the far corner. My plan is to hang them side by side at varying heights. Our walls are a warm medium gray with the slightest touch of taupe. Espresso hardwood flooring. White quartz bar. Oh, la la!

I love the look of this lamp. I thought it might not disperse enough light, but it certainly does. It can light the room or be romantic with a little dimming.

These pendants are open in both the top and bottom so you can buy two, string one through the other and hang them at offset heights--they look great!

I ordered two of these to be installed over a pool table. Needed something that could be raised up easily when we put on the ping pong top. This light is a knockout. My designer loved it. It picks up all the stainless touches in our room and it's just classy and expensive looking and it USES A PLAIN OLD LIGHTBULB...YEAAA FOR OLD LIGHTBULBS!!! After we hung ours, I saw them on that new design show on BRAVO where they were placed over a pool table also and they rec'd all raves.

My husband remembers fondly a lamp they had over the kitchen table that went up and down like this one so he was sold on the lamp at that point. I like how it transitions in the breakfast area with the stainless appliances in the kitchen without looking too industrial. My husband installed it in a quickly without any help (he's handy that way) and we have enjoyed it ever since.

Nice, simple and modern design. I positioned my lamp over the dining table. The ceiling in the room is only 8ft high, so my husband cut a bit of the cord to fit. The lamp casts a warm soft light. The pulley design has been a conversation piece. Overall, very pleased with my purchase.

We replaced two can lights over our counter with two of the pendant lamps and they look terific. We have an open floorplan and with the addition of these lights we have a better defination of our kitchen area. It also gives me much better light over a work surface.

very happy with this purchase. it came very quickly and looks very sheek. it's not shiny chrome looking as it looks in the pictures but it is still very very nice; more like a polished nickel. I love it and would recommend it to anyone looking to update their lighting.

Gorgeous lamp

This pendant light is beautiful. I can't wait to have it installed in a couple weeks. It is bigger than I expected (I did figure the measurements, but still looks bigger in real life). Very sleek and sophisticated with a casual bend - not overly shiny so you won't have to constantly wipe finger prints from it. It is going to be a stunning addition to our mid-century home to replace a very 90s looking gold number that came with the house. Great light at a great price!

This lamp is terrrific. I hangs over the dining table in my open-space living room/dining room/kitchen. It's elegant seen from a distance, with just enough sparkle to add glamour without being flashy. The pulley makes it possible to adjust the light for a larger or smaller crowd at the table. I put it on a rheostat, which adds another dimenstion to its adaptability.
