Very nice table

This table is very modern, great for small spaces (even though it can seat up to 6), and is well made. The only complaint I have is that, on one end, it has cracked ever so slightly. But, with the super-dry Southern California weather, my hot house, and the fact that CB2 does tell you this can happen on the website, I really can't complain too much. Plus, it happened on the end, not the top, so you really have to look for it. Oh, and delivery was excellent -- very fast and friendly.

Great purchase

Excellant table, with a beautiful top. Only issue is using placemats on it. I purchased the basket weave place mats from this site thinking that they might work, but I can't use all four of them without them overlapping. Minor issue tho, for a great table. Highly recommended it.

We were looking for a bar table that would fit with the little island we have in our kitchen, and this one happened to have a similar height. Love how the legs are slight stretch out instead of standing with a straight angle.

This is a small investment worth every dime for a dinning table.
We purchase it online and it arrived in a well protected manner without over-packaging. Assembling was easy and it looked great in our cozy NYC apratment. Other than using it as a dinning table, we also use it as a computer desk/craft table. Can't be happlier with this purchase.

I'd been eyeing this table for years and finally purchased it last fall. The material and finishes are exactly what I expected. It's warm, but modern; spacious enough for dinner for 4 and game night with 6, but not overwhelming in our small dining room.
The in-home delivery and assembly was excellent. It only loses one point because the legs aren't EXACTLY square with the table top despite all the hardware underneath.

My partner and I purchased this table for our new apartment and could not be happier. Table is stable, beautifully constructed and never fails to impress. Paired the table with four 30'' Phoenix bar stools and combination is absolutely perfect. When cleaning, I just take a wet cloth and wipe down - I would not recommend using any solutions outside of just some warm water. HIGHLY recommended.

This table is wonderful and can work with a variety of decor styles.
I agree with youthhaunts that the wood scratches easily. Does anyone have suggestions on how to repair scratches?
Otherwise, a solid purchase.

The table top is impeccable! While the high top style lends itself to a casual feel, the quality and finish of the wood top is stunning. It can easily be a show piece in your dining room! I highly recommend this piece.

Great look, but wood scratches too easily

I have owned this table for about 6 months, and it works so well any color scheme. Easy assembly (less than 10 minutes). It's a perfect height for standing or the 30" Flint barstool.
The only complaint I have is the finish. You can easily scratch the wood with your fingernails. I decided to coat it with a few coats of sealant/protectant. This is truly why I did not rate this five stars.

Solid Construction

This table is built well, with a solid wood top (no veneers) and the support structure is all metal with hefty bolts. It can easily be taken apart if you are moving, but when put back together is perfectly solid with no wobbles. The pictures shown are very accurate for color. I love this table.

Very beautiful, solid table. The original table that was sent out arrived damaged (due to shipping), but the CB2 representative I called was very nice, and a new table was sent. Great product, and great customer service!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a more modern kitchen table. Our apartment is more of a tropical modern style, and with all the tropical, this dining table put the perfect twist on modern. The height is perfect and the size fits wonderfully in our small space. We also bought the bar stools that you see in the sample photos and love them as well. Delivery was fast and set up was also easy. Would highly recommend!

Sitting at this table is comfortable, and getting down from it is much easier on my knees than getting up from lower tables/chairs. It's simple to install. The table looks unique and beautiful in an apartment space, and I love it enough to write this review.

This is a GREAT table. We were looking for a "counter height" (hard to find) table to put our laptops on, off our kitchen area. Wanted to get them off the kitchen counter. Our house is very modern contemporary. This table is VERY sturdy and LOOKS great! Couldn't be more happy!!!

The Perfect Table

My husband and I were searching for a table that would fit nicely in our small vacation home; not too big, not too small. I ordered the vice high dining table from the catalog as there are no stores even close by where we live, so we were hoping it was as described. We were so thrilled when it was delivered because it was just as described and looked even better than the picture in the catalog! The mango wood top is beautiful and the steel legs give it a modern edge. It is high quality, very sturdy, the perfect table for us! When our sons come to visit, there is room for all four of us to enjoy a meal together. LOVE IT!
