really brings the room together

I recently bought two of these and put them on the top shelf of my audio stand with some large coffee table books. Although not quite as heavy as I was hoping they hold these large books up pretty well. It helps that they have a large footprint and I don't have to worry about them smashing (like our geode bookends).
All that aside, they look amazing and everyone loves them... they bring a smile to our faces!

When I see something as cute as "Harold" I knew I had to have him residing in our home. We smile each time we pass by him sitting on a Chinese chest.
This hippo has very nice texture and is a good size. It does not disappear on a shelf! Good quality.

Stylish and Fun

My wife recalls when she was a child, her father had a leather Bull in his office and she loved to play with it. It was just one of those little things a she fondly remembers about her father while he was alive. Her sister has it now.
So we thought it would be great to have our own little leather animal(s) that our son will have to inherit. This just arrived and we love it. It would look great on our own shelves in the living room or study, but we plan to put in in the Nursery on a shelf where it will help make the room feel more upscale and stylish along with some other fun items.
Search for Zuny online. There are more to be had, but they are collector's items, so they go fast and will not be made again.
One note. It's not quite as big or heavy as I thought it might be. It still might work as a book end, but just barely. It would make a great door stopper for sure, but I wouldn't put this nice item down there to collect dirt and dust. I plan to use it as a decor item and don't really care if it can hold up large books or not. It's about the style and having something durable (though it will be well cared for) and will last for many years.

I was wary due to price, but the sturdy construction ensures decades of sweet love. Can be used as a doorstop, bookend, or trusty companion.
