This a great piece. Perfect size for all sort of little gems. It is very sturdy, but I agree that it needs to be secured at the bottom. It would look great in just about any decor.

I bought this piece for my dining room to put my nick-nacks on and it is perfect for that. But there was no hardware with the purchase. And, it is pretty heavy just on its own. Still, all the different shelf makes the piece interesting to look at on its own.

Thanks to CB2's website for showing the alcove wall shelf pictured in context and giving me the mental picture I needed. I love its quality of delicate lines and the toughness of steel. It was easy to hang and is well attached, but I wouldn't mind the peace of mind of additional screwholes at the bottom of the unit.

Great decorative storage

We hung this shelf above a buffet that serves as our bar. I had hoped to put stemware on it, but our glasses didn't fit on any of the shelves except the top. Still, it looks great and has gotten some other decorative pieces off the bar, including vases and pictures. This shelf is all metal and seems sturdy enough for its purpose. It was packed well for shipping — it did not get twisted, bent, or scratched.

We stole the design idea from the catalog (hey, they're professionals!) and combined this with the halogen credenza as an alternative to a kitchen hutch. It looks awesome! It is bigger than I thought it would be, which is good. We are putting our smaller, nicer glasses and cups on it. It looks very artsy- like our hutch corner is a piece of art! This has transformed out kitchen for storage and for style!

This looks great when you get it hung on the wall, but the piece really needs to have the option to attach the bottom to the wall as well. (There are only two attachement points; one in each top corner). If you wall isn't completely flat, and you attach to the top, it's likely the bottom is going to stick out.

I needed a little extra shelf space in my kitchen for all those little styley kitchen things that gather dust in the back of the cupboard.
This shelf is now above a towel rail in our kitchen and looks fantastic. I have various objects on it and actually filled every alcove. It holds three jugs, a tall pitcher, brightly colored icecream 'cones', a vase, small bowls, ramekins, espresso cups .....
Just what I wanted, and it actually looks far better than I thought it would. And my cupboards are clearer!
Very well made, solid manufacture, and quite heavy. Definately worth the price.
