I'd have to disagree with the other review. I mounted the white version in my bathroom and it seems quite secure. You wouldn't want to hang off it, but it more than stands up to normal use.

this is the first item from CB2 that really isn't put together well. It is nice, yes, but my guests better not touch the shelf in the bathroom, or everything on it would drop on the floor. Hanging mechanism not fit for purpose.
