Easily scratched

This is a great looking table and fits perfectly into apartments. But the tabletop is made of poor quality, easily scratched material. To test it out, I dropped my keys on the table from a height of one-foot above and 4 highly visible dents appeared in the tabletop. The dents and scratches do not blend in either, but instead display a lighter color material that sits underneath the dark tabletop material. This table is not for heavy family use unless you want to toss it after a few years.

Great Kitchen Table

This table is not only nice to look at but is super comfortable for a family of four to have a meal around. The acacia veneer is very attractive - I love that it looks like pin-stripes. Looks really nice with dark chairs. Well-crafted and very easy assembly.

Great style of similar way more expensive tables. The quality of the product is very good, if only the top a little prone to scratches.

This table is not bad. It is small enough to fit in most spaces which is one of the reasons I purchased it. I personally find that the top scratches easily. We also had a few problems with the table being a bit uneven at times. All you really need to do is tighten the screws on the base every now and then to fix it but its a bit irritating.
The color is nice but we ended up putting a rug under it to help it stay stabalized.

I love the table Odyssey Dining Table.
I purchased it to go with a set of Heywood Wakefield mid-century modern dining chairs I own.
It brings a "new" modern flair to the classic chairs, without looking out of place.

The table top finish is a truly lovely grained wood veneer and the brushed iron pedestal brings a modern/minimalist touch.
I have a relatively small "dining space" in my kitchen and this table tucks in nicely and yet still provides a substantial dining space. I also use it as a laptop work space.
If pulled out from the wall it will easily accommodate 4 diners.
My only comment would be that the veneer does mark easily, the rubber footpads on my mac laptop left rubbery streak marks on the finish - these were easily wiped off - but I would recommend using placemats or similar to keep the table top looking clean and fresh.
Assembly was quick and easy, and I did it myself in less than an hour.

We recently moved from NYC to Queens, and had to furnished a very large apartment. Not only this dining table fits our eating kitchen perfectly, it has withstand some heavy usage w/o scratching or denting.

My husband and I purchased the Odyssey Dining Table and we LOVE IT. The table was easy to put together and fits in our kitchen well. We love the wood tones - they will work great in any space. We have been searching for a table for a while now and were lucky to find this one. Super deal!!!

i have a tiny manhattan apt. & needed something less clunky than the traditional set i owned- enter the awesome odyssey table! its sleek lines minimize its weight in the room & the pedestal base makes it easy to accommodate more than 4 chairs when necessary. it is very sturdy & the assembly was simple & straightforward. the walnut top is gorgeous, but it does tend to scratch if you're not careful- a quick rub with a bit of olive oil masks it very easily.

This is a beautiful table! Very solid, perfect size. The woodgrain is nice but dents easily. The only drawback is I really have to be careful about what I put on the table.

Great Looks - White Not too Durable

Love the table - great lines and a wonderful value...but...the white may not be a good choice for homes with little kids because it does chip quite easily. The good news is that touching up is a breeze with a little paint. I would like to see a harder coating in the future.
But you cannot beat the price!

I bought this table with the 4 pony chairs (as shown in the picture) and the set looks great in our apt. It was very easy to put together.
The color combo of the table is unique and can match with a lot of different decors. This is perfect for a small apt! Only con is that it scratches a bit easily, but you just need to be careful. If needed an extra chair or two (in addition to the four) could fit around the table.

I have had my little eyeball on the stunning curves of a Saarinen table for quite some time, but my corporate slave wage doesn't allow me to afford it. While not a dead-ringer, the Odyssey table is gorgeous in its own way. So I can have my table, and sit on boxes, or... lo and behold, I can buy this little beauty and the chairs to go with it for a pittance!
The version I have has a polished chrome base, rather than the refresh shown. It's just the right size for 4 to dine in my tiny SF apartment.
The finish is somewhat delicate so I will be getting a glass top cut to fit.

A great table for the price

We have the previous version of the Odyssey table - ours has a chrome base instead of the gunmetal. I'm very impressed with the quality of the table for the low price. We've had it for about three years now, and it looks terrific. We regularly get compliments on it and it definitely looks more expensive than it actually is.
Another testament to the surprising quality: We moved this table, along with all of our other furniture, across the country a year ago, and this was one of the few pieces of furniture that emerged from the movers' truck in as good of condition as it entered.

We love our new table. It looks very sharp. Very easy to clean, and feels very durable. Very easy to install. The base, is not as shiny as it looks in the picture. I expected a chrome color, but its more of a dark matte finish, which i actually like better.

I just got the table today. It was easy to put together. I like the gun metal base. The wood grain is various colors. It is gorgeous and goes well with my dark and light woods in the room.
