bongo gunmetal high dining table
looks high-end. Trendy bar does residential kitchen or dining room on the low end, dollar-wise. Engineered quartersawn acacia veneer in new walnut midtone tops out powdercoated gunmetal square tube base with neat parallel lines. Reinforced wood composite and honeycomb core construction. Levelers included.

solution for a small nook or tight space

If you've got that small dead space that goes unused because your eating over your sink or on a counter by your kitchen that isn't conducive to seating or too close to a traffic area, the bongo table is perfect for munching or as a laptop computer work station without all the clutter that ruins the streamline appearance of your place. Go wireless with the new n-series routers, modems and wireless usb ports and this table rocks. With room to spare for a printer or garage band preamp and mbox, the tuck-under chairs minimize footprint when not in use, and they don't squeek when recording. No piles of newspapers or mail here. And no worries about having the extra chairs for when guests arrive. Two extra chairs won't break the bank: the extra chairs can be parked on the other side of the gunmetal base. Stop eating out and eat in. Or use as a great cocktail potluck serving table when entertaining. The secret is in the slender rectangular dimension with tuck under chairs. And the new walnut inspired lines add the extra designer touch, but without the matching pricetag. Call a cab, the table will fit.

functional and sleek

I love this table. It's in my particularly long, narrow kitchen and looks great. Use it as a desk/dining table, and it wasn't too hard to set up, though using a power drill definitely saved lots of time.

The table is very modern looking and adds a lot to the space where I have it. It's compact, but not too small--perfect for intimate dinners.

Great bar table

Just received the Bongo High Dining Table in the previous walnut with the satin nickel version. So far I love it. Perfect height for a group of guests to mingle around or for several to sit at. Goes great with the 4 Diego green barstools I picked out. Wood is beautiful and matches my Meredian table!

Excellent multi-use Table

We use this table as a dining/office table and we couldn't be happier. It's so versatile, on top of being slick. The wood top sits flush to the legs, which has adjustable wheels to match any kind of floor. It maximizes space and is also perfect for entertaining.

Great Table, Great Size, Blah Stools

This table is great. I was looking for something to fit into a typical Manhattan apartment that wouldn't overpower the space, and this fit the bill perfectly. It was very easy to put together, and it's super easy to clean: just wipe it down! The only downside is that the matching stools are somewhat boring, so I'm still searching for just the right fit to go with it. Until then, at least the table looks nice, albeit chairless!

Great Table for a Small Space

I bought this table six months ago. The quality of the wooden top and the metal legs are great. If you buy this table make sure you get stools that are tall enough for the table. I bought two of the bongo stools( the taller ones). Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

REVIEW: Bongo High Dining Table

I had just recently purchased my first condo and came across a problem that most first home owners run into...minimum space.
My dining area was small and yet I wanted to create a space that served both functional and yet still spacious. Having a round bulky dinning table was out of the question.
Upon CB2s opening in Los Angeles I saw the Bongo High Dining Table and immediately it was as if my endless searching had become complete.
The Bongo Table is tall enough to serve as both a Dining Table and a great accent to any room. Throw in some bar stools under it and you have a beautiful dining space/conversation space. You can even dress the top of it with decorative glassware and a table runner. Maybe even throw a Pendant Lamp over it for lighting.
Because of its rectangular design, it can be easily placed against a wall for maximizing space. When you have guests, the table can be moved outward to entertain.
I couldn't be happier with this purchase and look forward to future purchases that are both functional, spacious and beautifully designed!
