Provides great light, looks great. Only minor issue is that the switch is so close to the base I have to go behind the couch to turn it off/on.

Sure, you've seen a lot of angled floor lamps, but have you really encountered anything like this bad boy? Take some measurements--it's huge. You'll need two people for assembly, which can be tricky. The shade is the best part. Why are there not more lamps in this world whose bulbs are covered? Its light is diffused and lovely, and the dimmer switch a nice touch. I've never spent this much on a lamp before, but thankfully I don't regret it. Place your order, pick up some wine, and get ready to finish that book you've been battling for weeks.

This is a really nice lamp, better quality then I expected for the price. I love the panel on the bottom of the shade. It creates cozy lighting, perfect for over a couch.

This lamp is ALMOST perfect -- I say 'almost' because mine isn't 100% complete. I ordered this lamp online, temporarily out of stock, but shipped relatively quickly. When it arrived I eagerly unpacked it and started to assemble the lamp together. One small problem -- the washer that indicated was included with the lamp was no where to be found! I carefully checked all of the packaging but to no avail...
Placed a call to CB2 and they immediately offered to send another lamp (28 lbs shipping weight) to my home, I remove the washer from the packaging, and they would arrange for the lamp to be picked back up. All-in-all a good solution, but wouldn't it have been easier for them to remove it from the warehouse and send it in a small white envelope for 42 cents versus whatever shipping costs are associated with a 28 lb box?
That aside they strived to correct the issue but I actually ended up cancelling the replacement lamp thinking I could find the washer at a local box hardware store. Also no luck here...
Ultimately I ended up putting the lamp together without the washer and haven't had any problems yet. It looks super cool and fits our modern space very well.
Washer or not I recommend this lamp!

This lamp is simple, modern, and very functional. It perfectly fits our need for a good reading light for a chair in our bedroom, where we have room for the chair, but really no room for a table, too.
The lamp is great for reading, and I love its look in the room--adds height and elegance.

I recently purchased a new sofa with chaise/semi-sectional, and needed something to fill up an empty spot where the chaise was in the corner. I placed the lamp near the foot of the chaise and angled it so it hangs slightly above the back cushion of the chaise. I love the adjustable height and reach of the lamp, it allowed me to almost customise the fixture to my needs. The fabric diffuser on the bottom of the shade keeps the light from glaring in your face and the dimmer is another great touch. The two finishes give the fixture a handsome look while giving it versatility as well. Great look!!

We had been looking for a lamp to place near our sectional sofa for quite a while and ran across this one in the CB2 catalog. It looks great in the corner of our sectional. The lamp is sturdy and made of quality products. I would highly recommend this lamp!

Adding this lamp to my living room was an instant style boost! The linen shade includes a panel on the bottom that conceals the light bulb and adds to the overall modern look. The dimming feature allows you to adjust the lighting for any mood. A very chic lamp at a great price!
