i thought these were interesting....and since they were on sale i thought i would try them. i ordered five sets and i am so glad i did...i used most in the fireplace, piled up with small bundled raw sticks...they look elegant and simple. The rest went in a large copper bowl on the dining table mixed with a few real river stones i painted the accent color in the room....they look just beautiful.

Rather interesting rocks.....i had to look at the picture to see how they had em set up b/c they'd fall when i did it myself.

These are Huge

I got these because I wanted to stack them on my coffee table like in the picture. Unfortunately only three of them are stackable and the other two are HUGE. I don't know what to do with them. I feel silly enough for buying decorative rocks, and now I feel even sillier for throwing some of them away! The rocks that are small enough to stack are very wobbly and my husband knocks them over every time he puts his feet on the coffee table. They look cool, but definitely aren't practical for stacking purposes.

I thought these would be a little heavier as I planned to put these in my rock garden outside my front door. But w/the wind in Oklahoma, the smaller stones could easily be blown away! But they are pretty cool looking so will keep them...

Loaves of uncooked bread

I was planning on placing these rocks on my living room side tables (like in the picture). Only 2 out of the 5 rocks were the appropriate size. The rest were too large. They looked like large loaves of bread. They also felt very scratchy-like a chalk board. I guess I thought "glazed stoneware" was smooth.

I got a set for myself and one as a gift; plan on pairing these rocks with some black river rocks and expect a very nice dinner table centerpiece

I got these and layered them inside a glass cylinder like in the picture. Looks cool and artistic on my shelf. The rocks are lightweight.

It was the simplest of purchases. Rocks that I bought on a whim. They represented nature at my doorstep, a touch of beach without ever having to leave my house. As a busy television executive living in the middle of Los Angeles, I'll take that anywhere I can get it! It took me a few days to figure out where to put them. This was not, after all, your average purchase. And then it dawned on me. My favorite room in my house, the place that I consider my sanctuary, my place to nourish and replenish, could use these rocks. That place was the bathroom. Complete with a beautiful pedestal sink, antique claw foot bath, gorgeous french tiling and endless essential oils and bath treats, my daily, nightly baths have saved me from stress and negative energy inherent in my business, on more than one occasion. I put a few of the rocks in my sink, then a few on the floor of my floor to ceiling glass shower stall, and walked away. Every day when I come in, no matter what the purpose, the rocks give me so much pleasure! I feel like I could be seaside in Nantucket, or Malibu - places that conjure up peace, tranquility and zen. Who knew such a simple purchase could add so much to my life. And for so little. Let me tell you, I get more compliments on the rocks loosely gathered in my sink. It was truly the perfect purcahse.

I bought these for a St. Patrick's Day Party I was having. Laid moss on a buffet table and made stone walls out of the rocks. It looked just like Dublin.
I am going to use them at my next Dinner Party at each place setting so guests can build there own Cairn.
