I read all previous reviews of this bedding set before purchasing and was a little hesitant based on some of the comments (buttons fall off/pillow shams too small/etc.). I decided to go ahead and purchase and see for myself and I am so glad that I did!
I have been looking for a new duvet cover for a long time and haven't found one I loved until now. It looks great with my honey-colored wood furniture and helps create a chic, crisp look for my bedroom. I definitely recommend the pleat pillow in cream to go with it.
Though I have also had one button fall off recently, an easy solution to the problem other reviewers had with their feet getting stuck in the button flap is to turn the duvet around so the buttons are at the top underside of the duvet. Also, I have big, fluffy down pillows and had no problem with them fitting into the pillow shams.
Overall I would highly recommend this bedding and think it is well worth the incredibly affordable price.

This is one of the softest and most luxurious duvet covers I've purchased. I've since returned the set (I bought the shams too) since the buttons are about a foot and a half from the bottom seam. My feet kept getting stuck in the holes btw the buttons! I don't use a top sheet or this wouldn't have been much of a problem. It's a real shame, since I did like the set quite a bit.

When the duvet and shams first arrived they had to be ironed a while and at first were quite wrinkled from being packaged. It has taken a little while for them to become less wrinkled, but has definitely improved even after about a week.
The duvet is very soft and we love that it can be reversed. I would say that the shams seem to be a little small and I wish that there was a way to close the ends of the shams so that the pillow doesn't stick out. Nevertheless, the duvet and shams looks really clean and neat and we are really pleased with it. We have had several people remark about how much they like it.
At first, I was worried that the duvet and shams looked a little bland in color, but we added a different color throw pillow and a blanket to the foot of the bed and it really looks very nice with some contrasting colors.

I love this duvet cover - the color and texture are great. The only problem is that the buttons do fall off as other reviewers have said. Mainly because they are just knotted on and not really sewn on. After one use and washing I just sewed all the buttons on, whether they had fallen off or not. Now all is good!

Eye Appealing, Naturally Soft

The linen fabric is exactly the look I was going for in my guest bedroom ... el natural! The fabric is textured on the outside while the underside is soothingly soft, providing eye appeal as well as comfort. The price, along with the quality, can't be beat.

i was initially very happy with my purchase until i realized that the large wooden buttons would either stick to my shoulder or, if i flip the thing around, my feet get stuck in stuck inside the flap. thank god for cb2's return policy!

I really love this comforter, good quality and soft for being an eco-friendly material.
Im going to probably purchase another one since I'm really really picky about comforters covers and it took me 3 years to finally find one i liked!
The only bummer is that its button closing but zipper closing comforters are hard to find.

After reading all of the reviews, I decided to purchase the bed linens for my guest room. They are super soft and washed well. I gave it 4 stars because after I washed it, it had a lot of wrinkles and I wasn't going to iron it. So, I laid it out for a while prior to putting the "insides" in it and it de-wrinkled for the most part. Overall, great purchase and I'm excited for my guests to snuggle up under it!

So incredibly soft! I love the Herringbone stitching, which was hard to see online. My only complaint is that the color looks much more dull than the pictures and looked washed out with my cream colored sheets. I think paired with a deeper color it would look much better.

I am loving this duvet. It's super soft, natural looking and is of great quality. I recently washed it and it did up wonderfully! My only complaint is that there isn't a bed skirt to match the duvet and sham set.

I would have to agree entirely with 'online me' - I love this set, the colors and quality are gorgeous... the buttons do pop of easily, and my feet get stuck inside the duvet because the insert fold is quite high up at the bottom of the duvet and by your feet... so i find me legs in there often and that's annoying... but it's nice that the duvet insert area is hidden.... the pillow shams do seem smaller than average, which is a shame, plus i think they may have shrunk a little in the washer or whilst drying. But nevertheless, I am really pleased with this purchase and the positives definitely outway the negatives.

A great duvet - the softest ever. It comes out of the dryer reasonable wrinkle-free. The dual tone of the bamboo side creates a soothing un-pattern.

beautiful neutral

After searching for just the right color and texture for my bed, this set made my room. It's a rich neutral that is soft to the touch. On the negative side, I'll agree with some others that the buttons risk popping off pretty easily, but they're easy to sew back on. The pillow cases also take a little adjusting to get my pillows to stay put (they seem smaller than average), but with a few extra seconds putting them on, the bed looks fantastic.

This was my first CB2 purchase. Very happy with it! The color "changes" to the perfect natural shade after the first wash. I have not had any problems with the buttons yet, and will be buying the sheet set soon.

I exchanged the another duvet for this and love this set. It's really soft before and after washing, neutral color goes with everything, easy to wash and dry. The only thing I would recommend is reinforcing the buttons on it as 1 fell off the first time I washed it. It wasn't that big of a deal and I would buy it again knowing this.
