NOT STURDY, VERY FLIMSY!

THIS IS THE 1ST TIME I'VE BEEN DISAPPOINTED WITH CB2. ALTHOUGH THE LOOK IS AWESOME. THIS IS THE "CHEAPEST" BASKET FOR QUALITY! THERE IS NO STURDINESS AT ALL. IT REMINDS ME OF CARDBOARD! IT IS LITERALLY PAPER THIN AND FLIMSY. I ORDERED 2, THE 1 HAD A PART THAT WAS PUSHED IN BUT I WAS ABLE TO POP IT OUT BUT ONCE I PUT JUST A FEW MAGAZINES IN IT, IT PUSHED OUT, SO IT HAS A PERMANENT DENT IN IT! NEITHER ARE SOLID TAN, THEY HAVE A FEW AREAS OF BLACK "WOVEN" IN WHICH MAKES IT LOOK STAINED.
THESE LOOK SO PRETTY BUT ARE USELESS SINCE THEY CAN'T HOLD EVEN LIGHT WEIGHT.
I WON'T USE THEM FOR FEAR THAT THE SLIGHTEST BUMP WOULD CRACK THEM.
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!

This basket looks great. I really like the way it looks holding extra blankets in the living room beside my couch. I have light bamboo floors and they really compliment each other. I also think this basket would look great in a bathroom holding extra towels. I will say this... the basket is not really heavy/sturdy. It seems like it is best for light use and for decor purposes. I think for the low price, it is a great value and just what I would expect. I bought one for me and one for my mom (who is really picky). I really liked mine and luckily my mom really liked hers too.

Love the clean lines. I disagree w/ previous posts since I do consider it larger than expected and great for storing magazines.
I wish I had purchased more than one.

The baskets are smaller than I expected but look great. I agree with a previous post that they are not sturdy enough for magazines, unless you only plan to put a couple in them.

Modern. Clean lines. Unique. This basket is so far from your country kitchen chic. Way to go CB2! Even my basket-weary boyfriend loved it.

Unfortunately I didn't do a good job of considering the measurements - smaller than I thought. But also thinking this rattan will bust any moment. Everyone on the site says 'Magazine holder' but this seems pretty flimsy. Maybe a blanket/throw was the better idea. Or a teensy hamper. I like the rest of my purchase. This item is still finding a place.

This basket is very well made and larger than I imagined. It sits next to our fireplace and we store magazines in it -- I think it's big enough to store six months worth of magazines!
