Just the Shams
Date: 02/27/2010
I purchased just the shams, because, sadly, CB2 did not make the sheets in queen size. The print is great, but the fabric is substandard, which gives the print a bit of a faded look after the very first wash. I love the print. The fabric is soft, just very thick.

So I bought these sheets because I fell in love with the bold, bright, summery design. I needed something to brighten up the bedroom for the foggy summer days in S.F. Upon receiving them however I was disappointed in the quality of the fabric. The first time I washed the duvet cover it started to fall apart. CB2 of course replaced it but the second one wasn't much better. These obviously have to be washed on gentle and dried on delicate, but that doesn't even keep them looking nice after a few washes. I give an 'A' for design and a 'D' for quality.

Beautiful and fresh!
Date: 10/05/2009
I love these sheets! The pattern is beautiful and infuses a bright, freshness to my room, especially now that the weather is turning. Although they're not the softest sheets out there, it's well worth it.

Love them!

I bought the shams and absolutely love them. The colors are nice and bold, and they are nice and soft (though they were a little bit rough out of the package, but after getting them washed they were very soft).

Great in Kids' Room
Date: 09/09/2009
Bought these for a shared room for grandchildren at our home and we all love it. We decorated with the beach theme, using the fitted full sheet for the futon cover, added shimmery turquoise paint on the walls, and made the shams into curtains. Very pretty room. LOVE the marimekko keidas sheets and cases and shams. Great design and great color combinations.

Marimekko Sheets are EXCELLENT!
Date: 09/09/2009
I have several Marimekko sheet sets and I love them . . . They are crisp, bright and fit great. They wash up very nicely in cold water, gentle cycle. The patterns and colors are incredible and can really pull a bedroom together. You do however need to starch and press these sheets; it makes all the difference in comfort and presentation.
When we have overnight guests they are always comment on "the beautiful sheets."

Beautiful, but not soft
Date: 09/04/2009
Love the bold graphic pattern and beautiful color of these sheets. I was very excited to open the package, but was disappointed to feel the fabric. These sheets are almost scratchy. Yes, I have sensitive skin, but couldn't sleep on these pillowcases, they were just not comfortable. Marimekko, please upgrade your quality, but keep the great design.

MEDITERRANEAN NIGHTS

Journey to the sun drenched coast of the Mediterranean each night when you fall into bed. These sheets are oh so luscious to look at as well as to touch.

Mixed feelings
Date: 08/31/2009
The bold graphic print is, of course, fantastic, and looks so inviting on my bed. The 270-thread-count cotton that it's printed on isn't quite so fantastic. The sheets feel very thick and stiff after washing. In the future, I would like to see CB2 use a sheet with a minimum thread count of 300 for Marimekko prints. It seems counterintuitive to have used a somewhat inferior quality sheet as the canvas for this work of art.

Classic Keidas sheet: Great for kids!
Date: 03/29/2009
Bought these sheets and duvet for my daughter's room, and they are a bright, bold statement! Like all the classic Marimekko prints, simultaneously vintage and futuristic: perfect for our daughter's space-themed bedroom design. The cotton is soft, but thick and durable (more so, in fact, than my own Marimekko duvet, purchased elsewhere).
