Ipurchased a service for 8. One plate arrived chipped and was replaced. The bowls have all chipped. I Have several sets of dishes for many years and they have outlasted this product.

Freeform should not be flawed

I agree with the reviewer that said most of the pieces in this dinnerware have a pinkish cast to the glaze. I compared them with other dinnerware that I bought from CB2 (specifically the one with the retro danish design, cant recall the name), and these definitely are not white. Not even offwhite, but pinkish white. Love the shape hate the color cast.

I ordered eight place settings nearly three months ago. The first bowl was chipped in the first week. Now about 75% of the bowls are chipped. The edges are very delicate, and the slightest knock will chip them. I love the shape of the bowls in particular, but they have a serious flaw.
The plates are very solid and don't have any chips. However, several are already etched either from silverware or from placing a bowl on the plate.
Also, the glaze on some of the dishes I received has a pinkish cast to it. This is particularly true of the bowls and a few of the small plates.
Customer service was wonderful- one bowl was broken in transit, and they very promptly sent a replacement, along with 5 or 6 more bowls so I could select those with the least pinkish cast. I didn't have any hassles with the return/exchange.

I bought the set and the Calla platter. All of the dinner plates were broke. The customer service was phenomenal and sent the replacements Next Day Air! They are very beautiful plates. Thanks CB2!

I purchased the whole set plus 2 platters. They are great !!
They are stylish yet sturdy, simple with an edgy look that adds just enough to a table setting. I use the bowls also for lattes/coffee and they are the perfect size and fit in your hand.

Purchased 4 of each - dinner plates, salad plates and bowls. Unfortunately 2 of the dinner plates arrived broken. Called their Customer Service, and now two replacement plates are on their way. That is great service. Can't beat that!
I love the shape of the plates and bowls, so irregular and interesting. Would recommend to anyone who wants something different

These soup bowls are actually much prettier than they appear in the catalogue/internet pictures. They are also an ideal size for appetizer soup servings.

I LOVE these dishes/serving pieces! They appeal to my classic modern taste and love of sensual/organic shapes. I use them for entertaining and always receive compliments, as they not only stand alone but go with other dinnerware as well.
My particular favorite is the bowl; not only is it a great shape to gaze upon, but it also feels wonderful to hold. I use it for cereal, salad, cafe au lait, desserts, flowers, loose change...you get it, I use every excuse to get my hands on this shape!

Wonderful table ware for casual dining. Graceful and yet strong, delicate yet bold in shape and execution, these could be used everyday. The inspiration of the Calla Lily is simply apparent but not contrived.

I recently received the plates, salad plates, and bowls as a wedding gift and adore them.
I thought the organic shape would be too earthy or themed, but it is really subtle and beautiful. They look handmade.
The bowls were surprisingly more user-friendly than I had thought they would be, as well. I thought I'd use them for dinner parties, but for everyday we'd use bowls with a more traditional shape, but nope - these are great for cereal! I love that I can hold the bowl with one hand, and my spoon with another, as I walk around the house.
My only complaint is that you have to take a little extra time when stacking them away in your cupboard, as they don't lay completely flat and even.

This dinnerware is some of the best I have ever had. I love the weight and the way they look. stylish but simple. It adds elegance and fun to any diner party that you might have.

we really love the organic shape of these plates and we really think that they can either be used every day or setting up a nice table with guests. They really look amazing, the shape is original without being overwhelming and the color is great (kind of bone). The only drawback though is that we have been using the salad plates as cheese plates and that after a while knifes tend to mark on them. Still we really love then and use them almost everyday. We are thinking about ordering the bowls which could serve a lot of purpose. In addition shipping was fast and all items were very well wrapped and protected.
