Oui, we'll take it. So say you went to the Paris flea market and found this gem of a 50s sofa, but by the time you negotiated the euros and crated it back it'd still need refurbishing and oh, well, never mind, keep walking, but can't stop thinking about how cool it would be in your place. Find your vintage find anew at CB2: super long slim lines, cutback retro arms, low tufted back spanning double seat cushions...all avec a slubby linen weave in the perfect modern tonal red on gunmetal stiletto legs. How easy was that? Also in pewter poly velvet.eco-friendly construction:

legs require drill and are not pre drilled

I waited 4 1/2 weeks for this sofa to arrive in Honolulu. It came today without the legs attached--the 4 legs must be screwed into 4 holes each that according to directions are supposed to be pre-drilled but are not -- I now need to find an electric drill or call a handyman? This is so disappointing because it is not referenced anywhere and I did not expect to have to put my lovely red sofa together. I am sitting on the floor very frustrated tonight.

This couch is absolutely stunning. Not only do I love the design, but this couch is a true combination of comfort and beauty. A very welcome addition to our apartment's living room- it even helped balance the room and make it look bigger.
Comfortably seats upto 4 guests and even allows for lounging by 1 or 2 (friendly) people, and has impressed them all.

I am obsessed with this avec sofa. My husband and I have been searching for the perfect sofa. We visited CB2 a few times and always gravitate towards the avec. We love the red color and the retro design. The only problem is that we need a longer sofa that can double as a guest bed. But once we move to a bigger apartment we'll get the avec for the living room and hopefully have a guest room for our guests. You can't beat the price for the style and quality.

This couch is incredible... it goes perfectly in any room... it's incredibly comfortable and elegant. Highly recommended.

There's so much about this sofa to rave about. The design is total mid-century fabulous. I Love Lucy meets the designs of Europe. The color is not a glaring, cherry red but a more subtle hue of, well, just plain red. The linen fabric is killer and did I mention that swell diamond quilting on the back - avec buttons?

This was an excellent purchase. I bought the pewter, the fabric is as soft as butter. The sofa has very modern, clean lines. It even looks better in person and is very comfortable! If you are looking for a modern piece this is a must have?

It's beautiful, it's comfortable, and the price is right. My only criticism would be that the color in person is not as vivid as the catalog. But it's still beautiful.
