the lowdown. Long, lean, super deep unicushion for hanging out low to the floor. For tapas low at the coffee table. For slouching with the lights low, the volume high. For laying low...off with the back cushion and two can nap. The price for such comfort? Amazingly low considering its high-end nature: Euro sleek in casual slubby grey linen with an air (or is that heir?) of the Hamptons about it. Really Comfortable

I sat on this sofa in a CB2 store and was so wowed by the comfort that I spent the next couple of months trying to find an excuse to put it in our house. I found a place for it in our toddler's bedroom and we use it every day for reading, climbing, snuggling, chilling and generally living. It's a great napping sofa as well.

i knew i wanted a couch that was low, deep and comfy - all the best ingredients for a great napping couch. i saw the piazza sofa online and knew it was the one. went to the berkeley store and tried it out. didn't take a nap in the store, but testing it out definitely confirmed my decision. delivery went off without a hitch. love this couch!

After months of deliberation and two sofa mistakes, I finally followed my original instinct and purchased this sofa...love the simplicity and the casual, rumpled of look of the linen blend cover and down cushions. The color is not that of kelp; there is no green undertone at all. I'd call it slate--a cool, medium grey. And the sofa isn't huge, as some have reported--it would look appropriate in a small loft or a sprawling space.

I first met piazza at a friend's birthday party. Although it was a pumping party I had a hard time removing myself from piazza's sweet comfortable lap. Months later when I moved into a slightly bigger apt and decided I needed a couch of my own, my friend strongly recommended I purchase the same couch, singing piazza's praises. My own kelp piazza arrived a week ago after months of looking at other couches and negotiating with myself. I am in love with it. I literally spend most of my time when in my apt on it, sleeping, eating, working. it's that amazing. and every night I fight with myself to choose my bed over piazza. it's got to be the most comfortable couch you will ever meet. plus, when you have people sleeping over, there is no messy openings/closings, haggling over metal frames and uncomfortable pull out pieces.

I fell in love with this sofa when it first came out in the catalog. It is unique. I could not find anything close to it in any stores here. I am even more pleased with it than I thought I would be. It is so comfy and big. Perfect for curling up with a good book. It looks good too. Modern and neutral, you can change the look by just adding different shape and color pillows or a throw. It is a very solid piece of furniture, well made. It was worth the price and the shipping,(a little pricey because There are no CB2s in NV). This was just an all around fantastic purchase.

This couch has a low slung profile for some of the best lounging I have ever had. The depth makes it fantastic for doubling as a sofa bed. All in all a great couch.

super comfortable couch, I fall asleep on it all the time, and it's definitely big enough to even accomodate multiple people. Great nutural color that works well with the bright greens and yellows i have in my apartment

This is a truly comfortable, sleek sofa. It's wide cushion is perfect for naptime, and is big enough for two! A couple of throw pillows are a must for added comfort. Overall, a really great sofa!

I absolutely love this couch. It is low to the ground and perfect for lounging and entertaining. My husband thinks the cushion is too poofy from a proportion perspective, but I think this issue will resolve itself with time. Unfortunately our cats love this couch as much as we do (at least they haven't started scratching it yet).

Overall this couch is great. It's probably one of the largest single piece couches I've ever seen, so make extra sure it's going to fit into your space.
It's extremely comfortable and great to take a nap on for two people.
Only a few cons:
1. If you spill something on it you can't use regular soap and water to clean it so make sure you get the specified cleaning product. The gray is light enough where it will pick up dark and light stains.

2. The fabric is linen, so it's comfy but it can be a little rough when tiny balls of linen threads pop up on the fabric. This is only when you have your shirt off.
My Solution:
Definitely get a throw/blanket to protect it from stains and make it softer on your skin. Invest in pillows because the back pillow is low and it's nice to have something extra for your lower back or head. Also they will add color!

Feels like sinking into a cloud. It is the most comfortable sofa ever. Only problem is that I keep falling asleep on it! It feels like my bed. Not a sofa for a formal living room, but perfect for a place that is strictly to lounge around on.

i absolutely LOVE this sofa! i live in a small space and was able to configure it several ways, but i finally decided to use it as a room divider as well since it's so low to the ground. it doesn't isolate the living space at all, it actually makes my space seem larger. super comfortable and the deep seat is NICE. three adults can easily sit with lots of room to spare....awesome movie sofa and definitely perfect for hanging out and slouching with the lights low and the volume high :) i had the stain treatment added since it needed to be dog friendly and the color is great with my light wood floors.

If you want something really comfortable and inviting, get this sofa. It is like falling into a pillow! Also, it might look overwhelmingly large in the store, but once it was in my apt, it looked totally normal.

i was expecting (hoping - as i bought on style alone, not having a CB2 in the area) for the cushion to be a little fluffier, since it's a mix of down and foam, but i've found it to be somewhat dense feeling. outside of that, i love the look, fabric texture, seat depth and am pleased that it fits in my small space nicely.

I bought this sofa for the clean lines,material,and most of all comfort. The measurements noted on the CB2 website are not as accurate,our sofa was off by a few inches in length and width.The material being linen/cotton you will obviously see the worn wrinkle effect which I dont mind it's a cross between modern and shabby chic.Iam very happy with my piazza sofa purchase.

Unusual oversized sofa to double as an extra bed, great for our double height loft - tho its scale and color may not work in a smaller space. But a good buy, comfortable and well made.
