Whitewash Cube Coordinates with Natural Wood

We chose two of the "whitewash" cubes to decorate a guess bedroom with a Japanese theme. The bed and nightstand were "natural" color wood. The cubes go very well with "natural." When you want a "minimalist" decor, or Asian fusion, these cubes provide an excellent option. Plans are to hang them at a staggered height, and place LESS than 5 inch square vases, or whatnot... Only issue is to ANCHOR the objects on top, and for that I'll use glue or perhaps putty of some kind.

These white cubes are great against a color or dark wall. They have a shiny finish and pop against the contrasting wall. Make sure to install them where people won't back into them. They are very sturdy and install flush to the wall.

Good Product, Easy to Install

I bought four of the cube wall shelves to put on my bathroom wall in a stair fashion. They came with mounting hardware and mounting guides, which made them extremely easy to mount (although a drill is required). This was a nice suprise for this $20 product, given that the expensive mirrors I bought from CB2 did not contain mounting hardware. Only complaint was one of the shelves came with a small knick in the finish.

Pros: My "Don Quijote" figurines look marvelous on these shelvs. I drew a level line and spaced shelves 10 inches apart and addded the next one 5 inches lower in the center of the 10 inch space.
CONS: unfriendly template ( lines should go acroos the template for easy guiding but they stop where the screw holes is located. ARFFFF!. Installed in my computer room, love them.

I bought 3 of these cube shelves for our guest room and I LOVE them. They come with templates for the hardware that makes hanging them easy. They will be strictly decorative because of the way they are arranged. The high gloss finish is my favorite thing about them. They look modern and very sophisticated.

Love these shelves. Must be very careful when putting them up but they look great once hung. You could do some very creative shelving with this great product.

I love these floating shelves. They were, however, a pain to get level. I hung 4 all together, 2 side-by-side. They were not perfectly even and square, so it took a few holes to get them looking straight enough for my OCD self.

great used as art

I was doing the interior design of a new buisness and I needed an art piece for a rather large wall 20'h x45'l. I installed 30 of these (combined w/ the dark wood) boxes in a checkered pattern and people have loved them. We also put tealights atop each cube for night events. It creates a glowing wall. Perfect for ambiance. Just know that they have a hanging mount on the back that requires two drywall screws per cube. So your measuring and leveling has to be exact.

Let me start by saying how much I love these shelves. I went to a restaurant about a year ago and saw a similar style and couldn't get it out of my head. Finally when I got my own apartment about 2 months ago had to do find those shelves to create the same feel. I could not find small white shelves anywhere, I searched for days. I was ready to settle for something else, when I came across these cube shelves, which is what I originally had in mind. I purchased 3 to hang in my small bathroom, they are in somewhat of a triangle pattern, and add such a dimension to the room. The sleekness of the white and clean lines really spruce up the space. I just simply put small clear glass votives with tealights in them and they really have a beautiful ambiance. Who knew something so simple would make such a difference! I get so many compliments on them.

A friend asked me to help decorate her new office. For the focal wall, we painted colorful squares and hung the cubes in two groups of three, forming vertical rows.
The cubes have a great modern aesthetic ... ideal for displaying colored glass vases, small plants, photos, or any object of interest.
The cubes hang easily but I enlisted the help of a do-it-selfer extraordinaire to ensure the cubes were hung straight and secure ... to prevent spillage of the items on display.

I purchased 2 of these box shelves for an odd wall I have in my mini studio. Really added dimension to this odd wall. I then purchased the battery flickering candles to sit on top.

I bought the brown cubes for my living room, and then bought the white cubes to go in my dining room. Although most people would think the cubes in a dining room are a little odd, I added candle stick holders, and candles on top of each of the cubes (lined up in a row) and really added ambiance to a small little area. Great way to add height and dimension to a room.
