I just purchased two of these, not even sure where I am going to place them yet. The came well packaged with a template to hang them. The color is much lighter then the picture, but i was expecting that. They have a nice wood grain finish. For the price you cant go wrong, I love CB2!!!

We had been looking for a shelf like this for quite some time to put in our bathroom. This is our first purchase from cb2, and we couldn't be happier. This little shelf is really sturdy, and pretty easy to hang. I love how it looks like its sort of floating on the wall. Highly recommended.

I bought 3 of these to put in my bedroom. They look great and very modern. The only problem was the fact the two of them did not want to lay flat up against the wall with the mounting, so they are slightly tilting, but not much. Other than that, these were great shelves!

Not Quite Sturdy Enough

I was 50-50 on whether to check "yes" on "recommend to a friend." The good: Size is very nice, great price and the wedge shape is unique and modern. The not-so-good: Agree with other reviewers that the color is a little lighter than expected, and the wood is actually quite grainy. Also, I don't love the way these mount - it's easy, but the trade-off is that it's not exactly sturdy. It's hard to level front to back because it tips a bit, and there is nothing that actually holds the shelf onto its hanger other than gravity (not otherwise screwed down or held in place with a fastener). That's fine if the shelf is going to be up away from where people could run into it, but I put mine over the toilet to help decorate a bare wall, and I'm a little concerned that someone could accidentally dislodge it from its mount. Fingers crossed...

I bought this as a small "table" near the front door for keys, wallets, etc. It is the perfect size in that it holds everything I need it too but isn't so large that it juts too far from the wall. The color is perfect and I'm quite impressed with the quality. I had expected it to feel somewhat hollow or flimsy, but it actually has a nice weight to it and doesn't scratch easily. Great price, even better on sale!

Perfect for what I needed: a shelf to serve as a bedside table and hold my alarm clock, a water bottle, a box of tissues and a book. Looks great and super easy to install. Great when there isn't any space for an actual table or nightstand.

Loved this shelf so I had to buy another. Very solid and easy as pie to hang, expected more of a hassle. I bought 2 of these to hang over a 46" flat screen HDTV to fill some of the conspicuously bare white wall above the TV without creating too much of a visual distraction from the TV. My only dissappointments are that it wasn't available in black and the color is not as deep of an espresso color as my other nearby pieces (TV console and book shelf) and that it wasn't longer to go over a good-sized TV, so just bought 2 and hung them side-by-side. I may also just paint them black. Love the angled shape much better than the boxy, boring rectangular-shaped shelves I've seen everywhere else.

These shelves looked great in my living room to help fill up the space. They were very easy to install and have a great clean look to them. I will be purchasing more for sure...possibly as a bathroom shelf next.

I purchased these for our master bathroom and they enhance our clean-line modern and spa-like looks. They were more flimsy than I expected, though, since they move around a bit on the mounting hardware both horizontally, as they are meant to be, but also a little bit vertically. So far they have held up everything, though. I do really like the look.

These shelves are perfect for my space. The contruction is excellent, and they were very carefully packaged, arrived in perfect condition. They even come with a template to show you were to drill the holes so installation is a breeze! They are the perfect addition to my office.

I liked how the shelves were displayed in the catalog using both the espresso and white colors. We removed our baker's rack in our kitchen and put the shelving up to give a new look. We staggered the shelves on either side of a window and placed beautiful, colorful, glass pieces on them to add color to the room.
The packaging and quality is excellent. If you purchase these, you may want to invest in better anchors. Using the anchors in the package, the shelves didn't feel as secure as when we used a heavier duty anchors.
The width of the shelves is wide enough to hold a centerpiece bowl in a plate holder, but not too wide that it interferes with the space in your room.

I purchased this shelf to hang in the guest bath that I just painted. The quality of the product is great.. just like all of the other products that I have purchased from CB2. I wanted the shelf to be a little bit darker.. with more black tones so I stained it with an ebony stain and it came out great. I am sure that I will be ordering more of these.

I placed 2 shelves in the "library" corner of my room and it pulled the whole space together. These shelves are sleek and contemporary yet warm and look good holding anything from candles to canvases!
