Disciplined dress code. Regimented, orderly design salutes modern in spotless hi-gloss white lacquer. Wood composite construction frames two tall doors, recessed for depth of interest. Inside, a middle fixed shelf with two large organizing cubbies sits between two adjustable, removable shelves sized deep for folded tees, sweaters, jeans and wardrobe stuff. Infinitely long metal pulls are powdercoated gunmetal grey; matching U legs are continuous front to back, flush with the case along the sides. We like two side-by-side.
•Hi-gloss white lacquer over engineered wood
•Gunmetal grey powdercoat on legs and drawer pulls
•Two adjustable/removable shelves
•Two storage cubbies in middle for small items

Perfect Storage
10/27/09
What to buy for storage in a boys room that isn't too childish, girly or looks like the standard boy bedroom dark wood furniture? The Cadet wardrobe provides so much storage (no more over over stuffed dresser drawers) in a sleek, modern package. We put two side by side in our 6 year olds small room and use one for clothing and the other he uses to set up his army men, legos etc. Fabulous!
Definitely need two people to put this together but it only takes about one hour.

Beautiful!
10/5/09
The cadet wardrobe has several shelves, which helps me keep my items organized. The design is beautiful. It makes a statement without being overpowering.
It was easy to follow the instructions to assemble it. I recommend having someone else just to help hold the items, since some parts are big.

sleek storage
9/23/09
My mom ordered 2 of these for me to hide all of my stuff that had no place to go. These wardrobes were the exact size I needed to fit in my bedroom. I assembled and moved both of these units by myself, and I'm only 5'3", so it can be done with only 1 person, but it takes longer.

Solid Handsome Storage
9/15/09
1. Look at it in person before assembling 2. Take your time assembling, put blankets on floor 3. Put the correct screw sizes in the correct holes as pictures in manual are not helpful 4. Have more wine, then continuing assembling 5. Don't do this alone!
Step back and fill it!
1. Very solid and great shelving - bought 4 of these! 2. Compliments galore when guests come over 3. Now where is the perfect laptop desk to accompany this piece - something long and not too deep with a few pull drawers on the side (but plenty of leg room) and perfect hidden cord mgmt behind it? 4. The lacquer is perfect! 5. And my kids' room could really use a few of these if it had the option to have double wardrobe rods and a stabilizing shelf or two in the center.
Clutter be gone!

Solves a space problem beautifully
3/19/09
I have an alcove in a crowded home office that has been, over the years, either a wasted space or a repository for piling stuff up (i.e. messy). The cadet wardrobe fits in it perfectly and therefore turned the alcove into a closet, thus solving the space problem and the "mess" problem all at the same time. On top of that it is a very attractive piece of furniture, adding to the overall aesthetic appearance of the room (in contrast to the useful but far less attractive storage cabinets I saw in many home stores, which were more for garages). I did have a professional handy-person assemble it, I could not have done it myself, but I went into the purchase knowing that. I strongly recommend it!!

modern amoire
2/22/09
to spare myself a potentially frustrating experience, i hired a carpenter to assemble the amoire. it took him 2 hours and he did a beautiful job.
the amoire is exactly what i was looking for and could not find in any store or elsewhere on the internet.
the product price was great - expecially when you see the quality of engineering. someone talented in putting things together should have no problem with assembly.

Looks great, holds lots of stuff. Have two next to each other and it looks good. Hard to put together, not for a novice.

This really is a nice piece of furniture! I have one in my living room to hold office supplies, DVDs, books and magazines. The other two I have in my super small bed room so I can use the hight of my loft to my advantage. I have seasonal decor in one and my clothes in the other. The adjustable shelves are a very nice idea.

Nice Purchase
11/12/08
The cadet wardrobe was overall a good purchase. I love the contemporary, clean lines. It provides a lot of storage space with sturdy shelving. It was probably indicated but I was surprised the wardrobe had to be assembled; but once assembled, the finished product was superior, of better quality than Ikea furniture I have purchased in the past. The doors came with a few abrasions but are barely noticeable.
