I have alot of orange in the color scheme of my new apartment and these compliment beautifully. So easy to put together, I had the two I ordered completed in less than a 1/2 hour and they are now holding all of my books and DVD's on either side of my TV. They certainly make a room go "POP" with their fantastic orange color. Some people say the color is bright but I find it a deeper pumpkin shade that blends with my decor naturally. I have so many people asking me where I got them and I'm happy to guide them to CB2!

Unique, Durable, Timeless and Tasteful

This product was extremely easy to assemble. I am now able to display all of my art books in a neat and orderly fashion. The finish is high gloss on metal and can withstand the weight of even my heaviest art textbooks. I LOVE the orange color, very hip but also timeless.
CB2 takes great care in the packaging of their items as well (each piece is wrapped seperately and rubber banded). The directions are written well and it is simple to put together.
Beautiful Italian design.
PS- I made the mistake of fitting the base on backwards (so the longer end faced back, I soon figured out this was wrong when I tried to put the books on the shelves and the bookcase started to tip forward) make sure the longer part of the base faces front!

arrived in a timely manner, easily assembled, well made. had to move it around the apartment to find the right space..however, did.. and it looks good. good for smaller spaces. color is bright but very nice shade of orange. nice highlight and accent color.

This bookcase is fabulous! It holds hard backs, soft backs and magazines neatly. It was a bit of a challenge to put together, but I did it by myself! No more searching for yellow pages (yes, my husband still uses it). The orange looks good in my yellow and green great room. The bookcase is heavy, sturdy and also serves as a cat tree, but that is not encouraged! Book titles are easy to read because they are stacked on their side. I alternate books and magazines for a wonderful presentation.

What a focal point! It always gets noticed. Purchased for the Hubby's Architectural books, it really puts the bookcase to the test. I love the way it frees up floor space! I hope to get another one in the near future!

This is by far my favourite purchase from cb2. The colour is amazing, it looks and feels solid and it fits well into my small NYC apartment. It holds a surprising number of books.
It arrived in two packages and was relatively easy to put together - except that aligning the base plate with the back was a little tricky and would have been much easier with two people.
All in all, very pleased.

The bright orange bookcase is an excellent addition to my daughter's bedroom. She is the youngest of three sisters and the only one living at home,who decided to show her own unique style, which was enhanced by the bookcase. It is being used as a CD holder/book stand. She also has a cool bright orange 4 shelf stand that was picked up in another store that matches perfectly.

bought the bookcase for my son. it is beautifull. very easy to assemble, very cool color.
it is heavier and sturdier than seems in the picture which was a pleasant surprise.

Just bought this shelf yesterday. I am so excited to put it in my new place. I had to get rid of my honky shelf because my new space is much smaller. I found that I can fit SO much stuff on this shelf... books, art supplies, and picture frames. IT looks way cool if you don't leave gaps in between the shelfs. Don't worry about it being too orange if that is a concern because your books will cover most of the shelf. I think the orange rocks though, a nice pop!
i saw this online before i purchased it at the new LA store and it looked a little shorter than the images online, but it is a good size in my opinion. YAY!

Besides being an awesome shade of orange, this is functional, quality storage. I wasn't sure how solid it would feel, but it's heavy and absolutely rock solid. No swaying or tipping -- you'll feel the weight when you bring the box in from your doorstep!
I've found this bookcase to work excellently as a bedside stand -- I just put my alarm clock on one of the shelves.

This is probably one of the coolest twists on the old bookshelf idea, turned on its side, of course! I love the color but I also love how you can turn your books into a centerpiece in almost any space. What better way to create your own piece of decor.
