I read the reviews on this before purchasing and decided that, even if some of them arrived with paint chipped, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. And as others have mentioned, mine also arrived with paint chipping in places (mostly edges) and a scrape on the white drawer handle. Not a big enough problem to return it, but for the price tag, I'd expect a little better quality paint job. And I'm not sure if it's just that our house has uneven flooring (which it does) or if it's a manufacturing defect, but the top two drawers won't stay open on their own. Again, not a cause for a return, but enough to keep me from giving it a 5/5.
It does look great with the matching desk, and I love the green colour. It really brightens up my home office (which is important, as I work from home), and I do really like the fact that it has 3 drawers. A lot of the other filing cabinets I looked at were the same price with only two drawers and not on casters, so I definitely think this was my best option. I would recommend it for sure; just don't expect it to be in perfect condition when it arrives.

I am a graphic designer and I recently redecorated my office. I went from traditional to simple & fun...the trig file cabinet made a great, colorful finishing touch...in fact I purchased two more after I received this green beauty. Good construction, fun colors. The locking casters was a good touch. Many great comments on it. Love it!!

love this file cabinet, it is sleek and modern and holds a lot of stuff! easy to assemble (just twist on the wheels). only bummer: powder coated white finish on the drawer handles was already chipping by the time it arrived. not enough to consider sending it back, however.

Could these be any cuter?! Bought one of these to go with my very minimalist (zero storage) desk. First, I love that it is on wheels. Second, the color is just plain fun. Gives a nice little pop to our otherwise neutral office. I would urge you however, to be really careful with moving it around or plopping things on it. The powdercoated finish is pretty and shiny but it picks up super fine scratches pretty easily.

I was so sick of shopping for file cabinets and only finding BLAH. When I came across this spunky little cabinet, with its fresh color and functional file and storage drawers, I immediately ordered 2! The quality is nice, the scale is just right, the color is awesome. Who knew a file cabinet could be just the design detail our office needed?! My only *minor* critique is that the file drawer is not full extension, so when it is used for legal files, it's a little tricky to get them in and out. Otherwise, this file cabinet is perfect!

I searched forever to get some great looking, affordable furniture for my home office. Finally found it at CB2 with the Trig file cabinet. This isn't your plain, boring and ugly file cabinet -- although it's just as funtional. A really fun piece -- and it has wheels!

I love the modern look of this cabinet and it functions just fine. My only complaint is a 3" round blemish on the top of the cabinet - think rust that's been painted over. Not a big deal for me since my accessories cover it up, but if they didn't I would have exchanged it for a new cabinet.

My daughter's favorite color is lime green. When she asked for lime green file cabinets, I didn't think such a thing existed. All I'd seen were gray and taupe in office supply stores. These are exactly what she had in mind. The color is fun, the construction is solid and they look great in her room. What a cheeful way to organize!

setting up my new home office, i just couldn't bear the thought of dragging those gray file cabinets up out of the basement--so dreary! the Trig in peel green is much more appealing, and i bought two green Go-Kart tables and the green Surf office chair too. no more excuses not to get some work done! the file cabinet was well packed, no dents. assembly was dead simple. at first i was disappointed that the drawer pulls were white, not chrome color, as shown, but finally realized (duh) they were simply protected with a white tape that peels off (the instrux don't mention this). this is not a heavy-duty cabinet--i think it would take a beating in a real office--but it is certainly sturdy enough for home use, i think.

I ordered 3 of these and am very happy. They are placed next to each other with a cover built around. Clients in my office always comment how they love the color. Very minor imperfections in paint, but I'm sure after much use they will have other flaws.

This is a great product! I love the color. When I bought this I bought the matching go-cart desk and I really like it. The only negative is that it doesnt have locks. Other than that, I really like it. It is a great product with an easy assembly!

I love the punch of color that this file cabinet gives to a room. It really brightens things up! As far as functionality, its perfect. The drawers glide very nicely and there is plenty of room for storage. The cabinet itself comes pretty much resassembled - you just need to connect the heavy-duty wheels on the bottom and you are set. I highly recommend this product!

My work space at home is simple and tiny, so I was looking for a piece to provide some storage as well as a little pop of color. The trig cabinet in peel was perfect! It arrived well secured and padded and was fully assembled in just a few steps.
I was looking for a pop of color, and that it was! It was actually a bit brighter than I expected, but it has definitely grown on me. Also, whether by design or not, the drawers do not stay open. They actually close on their own. At first I was annoyed, but it turns out to be a good thing to keep me from leaving the drawers open. Overall, a great product, and I would definitely recommend it!!

I bought a couple of these to go in my boyfriend's photography studio. We love the simple clean design and the bright pop of color, but what's even better is how durable and useful it is. The powdercoating is very durable and very scratch resistant (we're pretty tough on this furniture!). The casters are high quality metal ones (don't you just hate those cheap plastic wheels that break all the time??) and roll smoothly. That's very important to us since we use every part of the studio as a shooting area from time to time. It couldn't be easier to assemble (just add wheels). My only suggestion would be to add a lock. We file sensitive documents that we'd prefer to keep private and currently, we have to use other storage options for those. Other than that, it's a great, durable office item!

Trig - the slick choice for files

After 10+ years, my office moved to a newer, smaller location. I needed to redecorate completely on a budget, with style and light, to save space - all with quality materials. I purchased 5 Trig Files - in surf, white and titanium. They coordinate well, they fit well under CCB2 console tables and look good solo. The assembly is a quick 5 minutes attaching the weels. The drawers are sized well and glide easily. The units are a tad lightweight, so I use caution not to ding or dent them, but for the style, the look, and the price - a GREAT CHOICE for a bright, mod, well-organized office!
