these bookends are extremely stylish and work well w/my many heavy Ph.D. texts. we ordered to sets, and only half of the latter arrived. however, cb2's costomer service was most excellent and they sent us an additional pair overnight. they also allowed us to keep the lonely lion. the price is my only complaint insofar as they might have been a bit more economical. nevertheless, they are wonderful and look great w/our new in-home office.

These fabulous bookends adorn the top of our bookcase holding up our hardcover Harry Potter series. A perfect marriage between the Fu Dogs and Harry Potter and a reminder of Fluffy the 3 headed dog!

this was one of those purchases that I didn't want my fiance knowing about until it arrived. we instantly loved these sturdy bookends. they add just the right pop of color to our wall of bookcases.

I knew my husband wouldn't be an instant fan. I knew my son would raise an eyebrow. But I'm so happy with my fu dogs. Am working toward a mid-centry modernish look; these bookends are contemporary enough to fit in. I was worried they'd be too red -- I prefer orange -- but was pleasantly surprised. Sturdy and attention-getting.

I ordered these bookends to go on a shelf in my guest bedroom. They are great! They are definitely more red-orange in color which is what I expected based on reading other reviews. They are heavy/sturdy and look fabulous! Would definitely recommend.

The fu dogs have a happy home on my desk, and I love looking at them every day. The vibrant color cheers me, and the differences between the male and female are fun to spot. They arrived in great shape and are well worth the purchase price.

perfect touch to a boring book case

These asian lion bookends were perfect for bringing some color and interest to an otherwise boring book case. It is a red/orange color and has a very nice shine to it and adds just the right color splash for my bookshelf. they are holding up a good many heavy cook books at my home. These book ends pop and add just the right visual interest and definitely stands apart from all of the colorful books it is holding up. great buy. I have also received many compliments on them - and they are simply book ends!

I love my Fu dogs!. I like that they are a bit shiny and contemporary, but have that old wise Chinese look. I just turned my dining room into a library and the bookends look great! The service and delivery from CB2 was outstanding.

I collect fu dogs and do enjoy these. I purchased two pair since they were a bargain by any standard. I was a little disappointed they were so shiny and perfect looking as most of mine are older versions purchased at sales and antique shops. I only wish they were more "antiqued". Otherwise I'm happy.
